why do video games look so much slower ? don't tell me its just the point of view please
@FedkaSlovanichАй бұрын
depth of field, objects stay at the same speed while irl objects look faster on the sides of your view due to your eyes having a rounded vision instead of flat camera

@@FedkaSlovanich but this is not real life, it's a video, the same as videogames
@FedkaSlovanichАй бұрын
@@positivelycurvedpikachu i video is different from video games, most video games use a standardized resolution. which is way different than video.

Oh god you’re one of these psychopaths that does 1’s for slight turns instead of tight runs. Nice run
@pedpinto2 ай бұрын
IMO, thats how it should be done, and its how i have them. People often associate the gears with the pacenotes, being 6 the fastest and 1 the tightest. That ain't right in my opinion because no two corners are the same, and it can variate a lot with many factures, such as the car, surface, traction, and even the drivers balls (full send XD). So if you turn them around its way better to avoid conflict between gears and corners angles, as there is an unintentional (or for some, intentional) willing to associate them.

So many corners to negotiate. Takes a lot of concentration too, how far ahead of corner are your pace notes ? I struggled to correlate the calls with the corners . Great drive all the same 💪

I only realised this was posted today as Chris is currently 2nd in the Rally Ypres. I well remember following this, and was so pleased to have been one of many to contribute to his success. I recorded that final stage from ERC radio, and still have it.

@@chillisicle Its not really that hard, but you do need some money. Join a club, get help to build a car, enter a club rallysprint event, and just teach yourself how to drive. The most expensive things are the cost to build the car (can be kept fairly low, if you do things yourself, and aren't trying to make a world beater) and gear like helmet, 6 point belts, and HANs. You may never be able to get to national or above level, but you can have heaps and heaps of fun. I only started driving when I was 17, and am wining trophies at 20
