Interviewer asks a question yet doesn’t even give Trey the time to finish his answer

Did anyone else hear about his recent video on his KZfaq channel (new channel name called XxAstrox because Dark Sprocket is no longer on KZfaq)? He posted a video that's potentially suicidal. Now, KZfaq did remove that video, but Trey definitely needs help because I'm very concerned about my hero.

Trey was a brilliant experimental artist and avant-garde composer, and he has his legacy. Sad to see him so deteriorated. But his legacy remains untouched.

8:05 he said it right there :) i mean ive met many so called 'deteriorated' ppl whos quickness and intelligence still surpass all the learned idiots walking around...appearances can be deceiving

All these comments just enable his self destruction. Its one of the reasons i left the metal scene. Too much denial and fake machoism from a bunch of children. Trey is OBVIOUSLY sick. To sit here and heap praise on him is just assinine. He needs serious help or the world will lose one of the greatest artists of our generation.

I got to hang out with this guy in ‘98. Honestly one of the most unassuming musicians I’ve ever met. You’d never look at that guy and know he was one of the greatest guitarists and composers of all time.

I met Trey at Aces Records in Tampa back in day. I was a kid and he was so personable and kind to me. He talked to me about the living continuum and truly expanded my horizons beyond music. He was a true inspiration to me on many levels. I will always love and appreciate him for that. Here’s to one of the last true legends of the art of death metal, he is a treasure…

I call these people 'intuitive' performers (notice I haven't written musician). As a riffer, an arranger - Trey is cool, has a twisted style, but anything beyond his style and his ideas, he (realistically) isn't that good - other than IN his own music.
@AQganon5 ай бұрын
as opposed to what, a session musician? distinguished players of any genre play upon their unique strengths and that's what gives us diversity in music. i never heard elvin jones, holdsworth, or jaco play outside of their stylistic range yet they are considered some of the best on their respective instruments.
