I have this sitting new in a box. Woof! It looks to be a very intimidating build. I'm going to have to wait until my calendar clears up to attempt this. Can't wait though!

@@SoundcastStudios Thanks for letting me know. I heard its a 15-20 hour build. The main thing for me, I need to cordon off a work area in my house. My cats would LOVE to get in this kit and wreak havoc. Also need to brush up on my soldering skills first.

Hey man, I would love you to do a deeper dive on these pieces. Whilst I believe that the vocal clip is a REAL example of recording vocals in real life, we could get a better idea of the compressor on a snare drum, or a very clear vocal track. I'd love you to go into the attack and release settings, how they differ, ect. This channel is awesome and I'd love to see more videos too. Keep up the good work.

@@Nicholas-Kent yes if I don’t plan to upgrade anything in a long time. It’s a great piece to enter hardware since it’s cheap relatively. If I plan to do music for a long period I would just start with 500 series modules. (They have a 500 series version as well)

I have a question: For this mix you did using the tascam, Can you send back the SAME MIX to your DAW? on separate tracks? For instance, if you use the tascam compressor in one guitar track, them the same configuration can be sent back to the DAW?

Differences are totally insignificant. AO makes killer products. FREE FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!!!! That alone makes them a must have over all those brand names THAT COST MONEY!!!! (In my book, anyway)

@@SoundcastStudios I dunno. Heard the differences clearly on my phones. The only two that sounded remotely similar was the one with the input driven and the one with the harmonics added (for obvious reason). The mix became brighter and mids more forward with the plugin added compared to the original mix
