It is better to use a parallel attachment for the track on long linear runs.

Will this machine aluminum?? Is there someone I can email with an example of the product I’d like to machine? I’m wanting to get feedback to make sure I can complete my build properly.

just predrill your drawer handle holes, then screw the face to the box. open the drawer, screw the box to the drawer front, then remove the screws from the handle holes. tape is a waste of time, as are those side mount slides.

ignorant non-woodworker here: could someone explain to me how this gets misaligned in the first place and ELI5 what exactly is being done here to get that nice and level 90 degree cut
@PSnowboarding17 сағат бұрын
Basically it's adjustable so that if anything ever gets out of square you can readjust it to be square. He's using a tool called a speed square to make sure everything is just right for that 90° cut

Hey, maybe the guys at Tools Today would know. We have an older General International jointer that looks like an old green version of that Jet. Was General bought out or become a part of Jet? It sure would make finding parts a lot easier.

Tuning up and making the first cuts on the Jet 8" helical head jointer! All adjustments are easy to make and it holds the adjustments very well. The helical head cuts buttery smooth as well! This is a dream jointer for me and am really looking forward to showing it cut some crazy figured wood! Question.....Y buy a jointer when you have several CNC's ?
@ToolsToday3 күн бұрын
While a CNC can perform jointer functions, it's nowhere near as efficient at it as a true jointer is. A CNC also wouldn't be able to joint stock longer than its cut area, where I could do whatever length material I want with a jointer.

How much money did you waste milling off all that epoxy? Also epoxy should only be used as a highlight. Wood grain is natures artwork.

Hi. I need your advice. i do 10x10" cigar ashtray made with wood and epoxy. the inside bowl is about 7" in diameter and about an inch depth. Although im sure this bit works, do you recommend going with a 1" diameter bowl bit or would that be too much for the epoxy? mind you, epoxy gets hot fast and the bane of my existance when trying to cut thru it. Whats your advice in getting the job done nicely? speed isnt an issue. i dont do production work so even it it takes 30 minutes i dont mind as long as its done cleanly and doesnt chip something out.
