Another thing you can try is on the startup screen, you can press tab multiple times until it starts to accept the password. Steps: 1. Press TAB. 2. Try typing Password. 3. If the password box does not appear, repeat step 1-2. 4. If the password box appears and shows the text ur typing, then put in the full password and press enter.

hey bro, I need your help. Since the last windows 10 update (a few days ago), my cpu over heats when i compress videos. and shuts down. I can't go back to the previous update. Is there anything I can do other than buying a new cpu fan? My cpu is AMD ryzen 9 3900X and I'm using the stock fan.

In the Virus section of settings, my screen looks the same as yours. However, if I go into task manager, it's still showing "Antimalware Service Executable/ Windows Defender Antivirus" as a background process that's running. @tech gene

Fun fact: there is a command that restarts your computer in WinRE and the command is: wpeutil reboot And the command to shut down your computer in WinRE is: wpeutil shutdown.

Didn't work for me. My problem is that task manager shows 35% cpu usage but my browser and process explorer shows 100% usage . dwm.exe is higher than it should be at around 25%. If I completely shut down my pc it works perfectly for about 20 mins, If I shut it down for almost the entire day it works fine for a few days.

hi tech gene, since the recent windows 10 update yesterday, my cpu is running at 100% and shuts off when I'm using a few compression tools. I never had this issue before, but I can't confirm or deny its related to the update. I did try to go back to previous update in recovery, but couldn't find the option to go back to previous version. Do you thinks it's window update related? or has the pc got issues with over heating? Also can you shut off windows updates? cpu is amd 3900x with stock amd fan
