Its pretty amazing central theme in this "Gilliverse", If Chuck would have been alive, Jimmy never would've become Saul and he would have kept jimmy in check like he was doing during the Armadillo episode. Instead he died. If Walt was dead, he never would've become Heisenberg and Hank would've been alive. Instead, he was alive.

This show has always reminded me of a current political party trying to get back into power and the extreme evangelical movement along with stripping women of the right to choose what they do with their own bodies. This is what an anti-democratic society looks like.

New point shoes are incredibly uncomfortable. To make them better fit their feet, many ballet dancers will condition them (break the shank/inside of the sole, etch the tip of the pointe shoe and add resin or things that make it less slippery, you have to sew in ribbons and sometimes elastics, etc). Natalie Portman did not do all the dancing in the show...and for obvious reasons. The black swan's solo (when she transforms in the movie) has her performing multiple fouettes (the whipping spin move). Not only is it challenging to do that when you haven't had enough training, but it's REALLY hard to do that many back-to-back. It's why the black swan is a coveted and super challenging role. Notice how earlier in the movie, Natalie Portman was doing the death scene in practice and it was very lackluster. In the actual performance, it was "perfect"...because she was actually dying. Her perfectionism killed her. The black swan was the role she was trying to perfect...she had to kill the white swan (her perfect self/pure self/mommy's girl) to become perfect. LOL sorry-it's my favorite ballet, hence the rant. LOL
