Tracks from the kit are not super detailed. But they seem to be T-62 steel tracks. Anyway light dust color was applied for weathering purposes.

Sorry mate but long ramp direction is correct. Long ramps facing to the sea side is a common misconception due to famous movies.

Thanks! This was my first 1/72 tank in 7 years or so. Small scales demand more restricted effects, but look pretty good when finished. But 1/35 kit are still my preference.

Pretty fun idea, and honestly pretty useful. As a definite amateur at this, I tend to look for effects I can copy that are pretty simple (and ideally quick) to do with a big effect on the end model. So basically exactly what you were doing here.

Thanks for your comment! Yes this was pretty much it, in fact it's very similar to your case. I tried to use the effects I thought they would be more effective. When we need to paint faster or simpler, wise decisions matter.

Se echan de menos canales de modelismo en castellano, por eso quería sugerirte que valores hacer los vídeos también en castellano, seguro que somos muchos los que te lo agradeceríamos. Entiendo que para que crezca el canal es más fácil en inglés, pero ya hay muchos videos en inglés y poco en nuestro idioma, que también hablan muchos millones de personas. Glad you like it! You are right, that is a wet palette. It's super handy when I work with acrylics so I forget about adding fresh paint to the palette.

That's sounds familiar, my Omaha beach diorama took me 4 months investing tons of time in a daily basis. For me, models worked little by little have a better taste.

I absolutely agree. Choosing this model was a right guess by the guys who made this challenge possible. A balanced model with superb fitting. It's hard to think about other brands except of tamiya for this task.

@@notjustpanzer yeah. It's a handful. Unlike the vast majority of armored car models, you have to not only build up the chassis from separate parts, but the floor too. Crazy stuff. And of course its all tiny parts.

Yes, I only considered this type of markers for limited applications, they lack of a pointed tip for greater accuracy, but they were useful for some tasks. Actually I saw the ak markers, they seem to be focused in camouflage colours, but could be useful too Thanks for your comment

Jacket color comes from a mix of russian uniform (Vallejo model color) and kakhi (game color). Every figure has a slightly different shade, but those are the main colours I used.

The first second i saw your tank hull i literally said : "Dayum, it's stunning" , cuz it is man. I very much like how You've managed to pull of such small and imprortant details like rust, different colors of rubber tarp on the turret and that subtle shine the whole model has.
