I was the "Beth" who's birthday it was that day. It was magical to hear Uhura sing Happy Birthday to me (and to Lisa, &c.). :D

I was there and had goosebumps ... I didn't know she sang, and WOW can she sing. Intelligent, wise, and charming woman. I could listen to her talk (not to mention sing) all day.
