Burger doesn’t get the credit he deserves, he was up there in the best era of heavyweight boxing.

I know Monzon is an all-time great but Marvin Hagler would destroy Monzon every day. Monzon can hit hard but he”s a terrible boxer.

Bugner was unlucky with that cut and getting stopped like that. He could have jabbed his way to a 10 round decision. Good fighter Bugner very solid chin.

Davey was one of my favorites. He passed before we could see his full potential.

Bugner was a top fighter and a top bloke, after he beat 'enery we treated him so bad that he fled the country to Australia where he's now living it large. Proper respect to the man, completely underestimated.

I used to like Shavers until I watched his fights. He liked to hold behind the head and throw uppercuts. It's really not a legal move but they let it slide all the time. You could see him do it on the first knockdown. Hold behind the head then throw the uppercut. Blatant yet ignored. They warn boxers about holding behind the head but if you throw an uppercut combined with the illegal holding behind the head they let it go. I lost a lot of respect for Earnie after seeing him do that move over and over again.

Interesting back story in this fight: They all thought Holmes was gonna quit like he did against Duane Bobick.. Before the fight Holmes said he was ready to die for the championship..Holmes fought like he was ready to die for the belts.
