We should be aware and conscious when we are talking with others. Enlightened souls like Buddha have a consciousness that is double edged. The fundamental connectivity with the Divine is never forgotten. Meditative silence helps to be aware. Otherwise, the mind is easily distracted. We must be firmly connected with inner Divinity.

What is the significance of OM? ‘That’ is not known - it is invisible and unknown. Whatever is visible is called ‘This’. Every change is dependent in on the eternal. Birth and death happen in something that is eternal. When the nature of duality is known, this and that disappears and it becomes a whole. Dwelling within oneness, the depth of our consciousness is known. All differences evaporate. Ultimate reality is beyond duality. Only silence can become a language of communion. God is a subjective experience. Beyond senses one can realize infinity. Then oneness with all of creation is felt.

Perceptions and senses are only in the waking state Where we can perceive reality in this level. The direct way to connect the individual soul with the infinite is by transcendence of the senses. We should not be swayed by the projections of the mind as reality may be totally different. The need is to apply wisdom and transcend when we face problems. Then wisdom comes to help us and our sorrow is not disturbed.

The idea of improving anything itself is egoistic. In this attempt we face misery due to helplessness and failure. This is the way things are. All that is: is perfect. Universe has emerged from the perfect. There cannot be imperfections. Total acceptance of things as they are is necessary. Then our life’s dimension of joy and celebration is possible. Flow with life and dissolve into the Divine - just as the river joins the ocean. Life’s every moment becomes precious. We are after all tiny ripples in this whole of existence.

Truth cannot be borrowed. It can only be learnt. Enlightened people have known this Truth. We can only interpret the words of the Great Masters. But reading their works is different from having a direct experience. Interpretations and commentaries have their own limitations. Reflections cannot be the Reality. With an association with a Master, we can unlearn what we have learnt.

How to get rid of desires without suppressing them? Unrealistic desires and dreams cannot be fulfilled. But the needs are real and there can be means to fulfil them. When we understand the nature of the desire, it disappears. The mind knows only the world of change and illusion. Taking care of our body and being peaceful is important. Integrity and crystallization of awareness within us can be achieved. Then all our needs are taken care of by the Divine.

Truth, if it can be spoken about, it is not truth. Any medium of language distorts its meaning. Expression of words is always limited. Truth cannot be spoken but can be expressed in several different ways. Reality is one. When we are in the presence of a Holy being, we realize that we know so little. It is really of no significance. Association with the Master ignites our quest for Truth. Mystics do not write about their experience of the Divine. They establish oneness with every creature.

Whatever seems hard work and burdensome is unnatural. We require to develop deep understanding of nature. Everything happens in a natural way. Human effort is always limited. Spontaneity of nature must be understood as nature follows its own cycle. We can do all that we can and then relax. We are not the doers. We are only instruments in the hands of the Divine.

A Master is necessary on the spiritual path who can guide us. He is the glowing lamp which spreads infinite light. Our ego may trap us in various ways. We need to drop our ego when we approach any Master or an enlightened soul.

We require knowledge and wisdom in this life. A man of wisdom cannot be certain about life and future as life is a mystery. Life can only be understood when lived totally. Knowledge can be got from a teacher or from other sources. But only by living what we have to learnt we can grasp the wisdom of the essence of the teachings. Only in the presence of the Master we can acquire wisdom. We have to unlearn what we have learnt. Higher truths can only be experienced.

Only a Master can give us true experience. And in the process of this association, it becomes a communion. The faith in the guru is a kind of light which is always present in our sub-conscious. This presence is very powerful. It helps to dwell in higher dimensions of consciousness. Master then is the embodiment of Divine love. In his presence, joy increases and sorrow decreases. His fragrance spreads far beyond.

Life will be a joyous journey for a true seeker who goes after right knowledge. Ultimately it is to realize the oneness with God. To know that the path is right, one has to increasing feel joyous, peaceful and fearless.

What is truth? In this world there are: Inanimate objects; animals and birds exist with their bodily intelligence; human beings have intelligence. But not many are bent towards a spiritual path towards Truth. Conditioning a mind will not help flower in spiritual seeking. Our quest for truth must be genuine. Our innocence and ignorance may prompt us to question. Then we can be centered in ourselves and hence all of us are one and the same.

Nature of life is that it is always changing and evolving into something else. As we grow, we see more dissatisfaction and the desire to achieve more remains. All are trying to become something else and something more. But something wants to seek the belongingness to God. This journey is to realize the boundless.

To be spiritual is to be courageous. Seeking anything outside is the weakest point of any person.The beggars of the highest kind and order are the ones who seek spiritual knowledge. Once we are self-sufficient, we do not seek anything from the external world. We are emperors within ourselves. A wealthy person does not resort to begging. That is the real flowering of spirituality. Once seeking outside is dissolved, realization comes about.

World is crowded with philosophies and religions. When one moves towards solitude, one can dwell in wisdom and be sage-like. Choosing a path that is not traditional is advisable to make an inward journey to be aware of Divinity and experience the higher dimensions. This touches the inner core of our being. It brings about a oneness with whole of existence. That lone experience is totally yours. Then fulfilment, contentment and bliss remain.

People look for radical experience to shift to spiritual path. This is the seeking of the spiritual, mystical reality. It is not something that can be handed over. But persistent, individual effort is required for realization. Realization is the culmination of our experiences. Unless we are always aware and ever-ready and also dedicate our every effort on this path, realization is not possible. Immense love and ardent spiritual practice may lead a disciple to enlightenment.

All relationships thrive on reciprocal measures. But true service doesn’t expect anything in return. A disciple wishes well for others and doesn’t expect recognition. Service arising from gratitude is the highest and unparallel. Surrender is not complete without service. A disciple receives wisdom from the master and a sense of service invariably comes from within. This liberates the individuality of the disciple and he/she grows in love and compassion.
