My back light went out but the middle bar at the bottom of the back windows was still working. After review both my fuses which look good and not blown. I did replace them with new ones just incase but it did not work. It was only till I went out and bought 2 new bulbs and put them in and then it worked. Seems as though a lot of forums says that the electrical systems on these Sonata have bad wiring which shorts the bulbs all the time. I had upgrade both my back stop lights with LED lights so I can't tell if they went bad or not but after replacing them with normal bulbs again, it worked. If the brake bar at the bottom of your windshield in the back still works, most likely fault bulbs. Hope this help anyone who has the same issue.

Hi. I have a 2011 Sonata 4-cyl that has good battery and new/good stater but nothing happens when key button is pushed. Nothing will power up except the ignition button's little dim light as I'm pushing it. Any ideas where to start? Thanks!

Responding to some of the comments: You don't have to remove engine. For this video it just made it easier to see where the drain port would be (which is directly below the refrigerant lines). On my Mazda 6 I had a hose attached to the drain port. If what you have is what you see in this video I suspect what I did would work also. Here is what I did; I took a 4 foot length of 1/4" polyhose and shoved it as far as I could into the drain hode. I attached the other end to a small vacuum nozzle on my wet vac. and duct taped it in place to eliminate air bypass. Turned on vaccum and let it run for 20 minutes. Fluid came out the entire time (about a quart). I disconnected the vacuum setup and drove the car. No more strange fan noise with left turn and when I parked the car it began draining condensation from the drain hose as it was supposed to. Hope this helps others.
