I tried to remove the wire from the light "socket" like you show but the wire broke off inside the light socket. Could not get the little wire pulled out of light socket. Now what?

I would caution against using "re-usable" air filters as they don't typically allow enough air through, even when cleaned regularly. I used one on my first A.C. unit and ended up having the whole system replaced from the frost damage to my exchange unit coils. Now I just order replaceable filters online in bulk and hang a post-it note on the A.C. air exchanger to remind me when to change, and spray clean the coils every year with coil cleaner. No issues.

When you wired your common tombstone connectors with the yellow wires, how did you wire them? Was it like this: Tombstone connector for lamp one: Wire hole 1: yellow Wire hole 2: white wire 1 Wire hole 3: yellow Wire hole 4: white wire 2 Tombstone connector for lamp 2: Wire hole 1: no wire Wire hole 2: white wire 2 Wire hole 3: no wire Wire hole 4: white wire 1 I am trying to troubleshoot a rapid ballast replacement for 2 lamps. When I switch it on it flashes once and shuts off/does not turn on.

The blues and the reds were the other way...

My kitchen lights stopped working for some reason. tried changing the light switch and resetting breakers etc etc, and then I learned it was the ballast. After watching this vid I was able to change the ballast myself and solve the issue. Thanks a lot!

Your step by step gave me insight into replacing my T8 ballast today. Finding Ballast got help with employee at Home Depot. My information was 2-T8 bulbs (tubes) 48" length. Success!

Home Depot didn't have the ballast I had, so i had to take a picture of the label on it and go to eBay to find an exact replacement. I paid a little more but it's nothing compared to the trouble I saved

If you are viewing this in 2023 or later, don’t replace the ballast…remove the ballast and direct wire for led tube.

hey thanks for video.and comments folks,.,im all in upside down brain world, i rinsed first.and was thinking now to vacuum now.,.lol Surely think be okay to vacuum now and rinse again..of course in allignment of airflow,., Am curious about on my reusable filters one corner/side opens up...and anything more elaborate can be done to clean better,,.
