Joe Bidet couldn't win a game of tic tac toe against himself, even he got into hunter's stash or was cheating. His uncle couldn't have been much smarter.

No matter how hard one tries to excuse explain the continued problems the monogenitics had there are several factors. 1. The US started with old outdated equipment and tactics, wooden rifles, trucks with tank painted on the sides, WW2 ideas about dog fighting and not really understanding just how complicated carriers and their formations were. 2. The japs bought evert shiny new thing they could from Europe and Germany sold them plans and tools so what they started with was what they ended with except for delivery of new items by submarine. 3. Plains, ships wepons and support equipment in America was either in the pipeline, under development, or adapted. The zero, for example had nothing for pilot safety which was why it was even able to get marginal range, while every American plain had self sealing tanks, radio armor parachutes and survival gear. 4. It took them 5 years (if i remember correctly)to train pilots where as we were churning them out like cupcakes. When equipment, training and numbers all come together there is only one outcome........

I remember years ago hearing Brad Meltzer talking about missing DDay foitage that was filmed from the beach. I dont remember all the details but i think the OSS sent a cameraman or a pair to Normandy on the 4th. They were dropped by parachute and were met by resistance fighters that put them up and saftly accompanied to a location that over looked a landing beach. Im not 100% on the details but i know that the footage supposedly captured the landings on one of the American beaches and that its missing. Imagine seeing the landing from an entirely different angle or perspective. Then again maybe the footage was purposely "misplaced" or even destroyed because it was just to horrible to imagine ever being released or veiwed by the public. Salute to those who served My great uncle was in the 62nd armored field artillery bn and landed on the morning of the 6th,he drove a Sherman tank. He was awarded the bronze star for carrying a forward observer, gunner and loader to an advanced position to call in artillery fire on targets and in the citation it says they were able to take out multiple MG positions.

I always wonder how do the Americans seems to know all the big ticket plans of the Japanese. The Americans knew about pearl harbour, midway , Mariana turkey shoot, Yamamoto Ambush etc ... Well , Reasons were given but i doubt those are the only reasons, somehow , i suspected that, their's more , some deep secret , which till this day we are not aware of .

In my assumption since kamikaze was based on desperation, most of the pilot didn't do it by loyalty for the military command or even for the country. They had no other choice. Backing off and returning home will be seen as disgrace by the military and maybe even by most of the society.

Some of the comments that I see here make me sick. Lieutenant Finnegan was an American officer who died honorably in the service of his country. Shame on those who are mocking this officer in order to take cheap shots at Joe Biden!

I can't believe that I'm about to stick up for Joe Biden, but here goes. ....None of the information contained in this analysis would have been available to the Biden family, either in 1944 or for many years after 1944. They simply would have been informed that Lieutenant Finnegan was Missing in Action, which would later have been amended to Finding of Death. Families often constructed theories as to the possible fates of lost family members, based on approximate knowledge of where that individual had been and what his role has been, and reports and tales from those areas. These theories often became embedded in family folklore and tradition. .... Fear of falling into the hands of cannibals on Papua was a very real wartime concern held by American airmen. The fear may have been based on exaggerated or fabricated danger, but it was definitely felt. I myself possess an original letter written in 1944 by an A-20 pilot flying from Papua in which he expresses that very concern about cannibals. Furthermore, acts of cannibalism on Papua were prosecuted at least as late as the 1960's, so there was certainly some legitimacy behind the fears. ...President Biden was an infant at the time. There is nothing unusual about his being unclear or outright mistaken about the details of his uncle's fate. He simply accepted the story as it was related to him. Which was simply what people had to do in the pre-internet world. ... Maybe you like Biden, maybe you don't. Either way, mocking him for this is just plain wrong.

We are talking about war. It sucks. It’s hard. It’s dangerous and brutal. Which is why it should ALWAYS be THE LAST OPTION. That being said, right or wrong, I’d much rather see YOUR son or daughter come home that theirs. Nothing to gain by rehashing something that happened 80 years ago, it’s not doing anyone any good and this video was only created in an attempt to recreate a previous drama . Fuck that
