These things are complete bs. They fall apart because the segments rub on each other. Then they start making noises (which magbaks support finds normal) and even fall off after a few miles. And having those things fly off in high speeds is probably not funny at all… magbaks support wont refund you even after contacting them multiple times. I now bought basenors rimcases which are one piece, they dont male noises and wont fall off. And they are half the price.

Its a shame what he is telling you is not true, the output of the solar cells is about 1/3 of what they are saying, according to their own display data at abu dhabi race track when they did some laps of the race track in full sun conditions. Unfortunately that is about the only data that has accidentally been recorded....a bit worrying indeed.

Almost pulled the trigger on the LR RWD based on this video till I realized that this comes with partial premium interior (e.g. 9 speakers instead of 17, lower quality interior materials and features similar to the RWD model 3). Very big miss not covering these aspects in this video. Will definitely misguide quite a lot of folks. Tesla Raj... please add this to your videos so people are not misinformed.

Yea every time they say replace it and they cost more than going to the tire shop. And that tire could of been patched and they would of charged you around $100 to patch it, tire shop would be around $30

Very, very good summary video Raj. We have a 2022 Model 3 Long Range, and it's EPIC. And now, with all the added extras...and it's CHEAPER...wth???? Best car I've ever owned, and can drive and drive and drive - it simply never gets old or boring...the range...accelaration...tech...safety....stereo...reliability...handling. Three years of ownership, and zero maintenance issues, plus we charge on our solar, so zero running costs. I remember seeing a M3 review many years ago - the owner/reviewer said the only thing he regretted was NOT BUYING IT SOONER!

Great video. I just did a test drive of the Tesla M# AWD LR. I also drove the M3 LR Highland a few months ago. It is exactly the same car in terms of look, inside quietness, braking - regen, ease of driving, peppiness, (close anyway), and has EVEN MORE range. Yes a somewhat less complex audio system - but I never noticed, and 4-wheel drive though I rarely drive in snow. But there is such a thing as snow tires. On the highway, somewhat less kick when accelerating beyond 40-50mph. But perfectly competent and better than most sedans. No, for virtually all situations, this is a great car and bargain. And for $35 using the tax credit, I'm in love. Brand new, all the new Highland improvement & refinements, with the longest range and highly competent performance. Really, what's not to like.

A set of snow tires on a rear drive car makes it perform wayy more than fairly well, It outright cures the traction issue. There is no need to buy the all wheel drive if your concern is traction and snow. A set of snow tires is not gonna cost you the additional 5K that the all wheel drive currently costs. Save your money and get a set of snow tires n swap um if you need to. Blizzak tires will go thru that snow like tiger claws . trust me

The phone that you used to set up the Apple Music, does it have to be in the vehicle every time…or after it’s setup, Apple Music just works in the Tesla and doesn’t need the phone anymore?

The 7500 gov should benefit the consumer not Tesla. This is still the 43k car. Not the 35k car. Should be a 35k car and then the consumer should benefit of another 7500 off.

OMG Raj, i have same car, same color, and same wheels as your Long Range! Im so tired if it though. Its noisy, the ride is very rough and relatively slow conpared to thr dual motor variants. Mines is a 2019 June variant, so it does have some improvements over the 2018s ans even the early 2019s, but it feels dated now. Time for a highland upgrade!

you need the wall charger on the outside of the house, because you can’t close the garage door all the way if you run the mobile charger cable under the door.

Cool video. I'm looking into a 2018-2019 Model 3 as a project car and don't know how much of the creature comforts, we take for granted with newer models existed back then. A good example of this is one-pedal driving with the 2018 Model 3 vs the 2019 model year.

So to be clear. Aptera solar provides 40 miles range at an average speed of 24 mph. If you drive an average of 60 mph you will get about 7 miles range from solar. The 1000 mile range also assumes an average speed of 24 mph.

Thanks for the detailed video on Tesla Camping. There is one issue with the comparison of power used with and without the trailer. Since you made the power consumption comparison between driving at 70mph without the trailer and 55mph with the trailer, your viewers really have no sense of the true difference. Just increasing speed from 55mph to 70mph increases the power consumption a good amount, and that does not even account for the trailer. For a fair comparison, the car should have been driven at a constant speed (ie, 55mph due to the Polydrop limit) with and without towing the trailer. The true difference would be more like 40-45% higher power usage (appx. 100Wh/mi more) with the trailer. People should also be better aware of the speed limit of the trailer, which will lengthen the driving time of many trips. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice little trailer. People just need to be aware of the disadvantages. I've driven across country in a Model Y, towing a small, covered U-Haul trailer. The weight of the U-Haul trailer full of stuff is comparable to the Polydrop's weight but not as aerodynamic. Towing that small U-Haul trailer cut the range of my friend's Model Y down to about 120 mi, which made it quite challenging at times to make it to the next charger. Using 100Wh/mi more with the Polydrop is something to seriously consider. Word to the wise, test your car's range with the Polydrop or any other trailer before taking it on a trip so that you know what you're getting into.
