Guru Nanak established universal democratic model at Kartarpur Sahab during muslim rules and same was emulated by the Maharaja Ranjit Singh regime during which Sikhs were in the minority community even though muslim were in the majority. Miri and piri means that law of land prevail irrespective of caste color cultural heritage and cultural diversity. No religion teaches hate and violence.

You can believe in anything you wish to, it doesn't make much of a difference existentially. There was never any exaggerated importance of "belief" in the Indic paradigm - it arises due to the mediaeval era influence of Abrahamic bunkum. No person with beliefs will ever evolve spiritually.

Singapore's(once a Muslim country) Lee Kuan Yew govt policy to instill harmony from civil and racial unrests should be studied and applied that all citizens want is equality so survival in all aspects of life anywhere is sustainable and meet the member of parliament meetings held weekly in all grassroots areas for citizens to seek personal help from local govt. Free or subsidized job skill training, education and job placements is very much receptive because no one is thus struggling. Corruption is dealt with serious consequences and in the indian atmosphere this is the root of restlessness...corruption(i witnessed how a police officer displayed his badge to gain free mechanical repair for his vehicle and my mom's asthma puff being taken apart by a custom officer who asked for bribe to on our first trip; i stared in shock and that feared him much strangely to shiver and let us in at the airport) leads to loss of needed equality of education, jobs, law and order, rise to propaganda, frustration justifiably so et al

There were many HINDU Kingdoms in India before the so-called Sikh Raj, so by the same logic all of them should also be re-established. Then there will be no space for the so-called Maharaja Ranjit Singh Khalsa Raj! Good riddance.
If we look at many of these self made scholars is that they will never talk issues that affect us the most. The biggest threat to next generations is these people. You want your kids to learn Gurbani, teach it at home. These all are businessmen.

Jo kuch hota hai Guru ke bhanne mei hota hai. Guru chahte te woh rat marr jaye He is a fugitive, desh drohi. If binderwala is a saint then what is maskeen ji? A fugitive? Please get your definition of saint and desh drohi Don't glorify binderwala like baba deep Singh or banda singh bahadur or guru Gobind Singh. Why did binderwala need nangi ladkis and stenn guns in alasl takht. Rat hai binderwala jo guru ke padd chup gaya army ke darr se. Indira ji shaheed hai woh binderwala nahi 31 oct ko indira ji ki shaheedi manao Choro, desh drohi. Guru Gobind mat banao uss chuhe binderwala ko
Aur ye kehna bhindranwale hid like a rat is non sense. Because he was the one who was ready to die for guru. And secondly indian state was the one who created a pre planned attack on golden temple

At Gurdawara Rakab Ganj Sahib, my uncle was present in person for Jathedar Santokh Singh's Bhog ceremony-which also included Giani Zail Singh. Zail Singh was severely scolded by Sant Bhinderanwale in his remarks after Ardas, by saying that some people blacken their own faces - because Zail Singh used to dye his beard). Scarcely had Zail Singh a chance to say anything Sant Bhinderanwale. flanked by his guards, finished his speech and embarrassed the home minister of India by departing from the assembly, leaving scarcely a handful of people behind and nearly 80% of the Sangat in tow.

Maybe he learned from the fact that Harmandir Sahib has been attacked multiple times by different groups in history? If the government had tried to resolve any issues diplomatically, instead of planning an attack with the help of foreign agencies over the course of many years, maybe we wouldn't be having these discussions now. Open your eyes, Sikhs when they ask for their rights are jailed, shot, and even killed, whether it was the under British or the current Indian government. The only true "Sikh" in the eyes of the Indian government is a subservient one, something that is antithetical to our ethos as Sikhs.

Sikhs are Pride of India, I would say they are Pride of world; anything unfortunate happens anywhere in the world, Sikhs are the first to be there to help, feed. Their Bravery is always glorified. Having said that, @36:11, the question posed by the host was very good. But Harinder Singh, being a weasel, very dexterously avoided the question. He started beating around the bush, juxtaposing Bhindrewale with Guru Govind Singh. Yes, Guru Govind Singh ji carried bow and arrow, but that was in the battle field, not in Gurudwara Sahib. A simple man, who spoke only Punjabi, did regular kirtan and Paath, all of a sudden became so powerful that he put his cot (Charpai) in Akaal Taqt, the most sacred place in Harimandir Sahib, and Sikh leaders Badal, Tohra and Longowal could do nothing. It was a Sikh who wore Indian Army uniform and led the Operation Blue-Star. Till today, Sikhs are trying to kill him. I do not condone Indian army going inside Harimandir, that I would never accept, but then how ak-47s were allowed inside the sacred place?.... A sikh when gets married takes his wife to Harimandir Shahib for mattha-tek (blessing). Those women were picked. After that operation, when those girls came out, they were all loaded. I asked this question to one Sardar, and I was stunned by his reply, he said and I quote "Woh saade haq layee larde paye si, es karke asi saddi'yan Kurdiy'an ditti si" .... Even today, when I go to Gurudwara, I see Bhindrawale's picture on the atrium wall with a caption "Sadda 11wa Guru" ...... no, no, no, this comparison with saintly figure like Guru Nanak is not only hideous, it is downright shameful .....

I would like to point out to viewers that most of the answers about “unsupportable topics” revolve around personal accounts of few selected individuals. We all know persons views, recollections change over time. It is very difficult to rely on individual accounts especially emotional matters like this.Personal views of military personnel cannot also be trusted, as there will be politics, biases happen in military organization happens. We all know a US air force general talked about “hallow earth” as his personal experience. I want to point out that most of this persons explanations seems to be formed on biased opinions.
@Telugodu2022 күн бұрын
He was held in high esteem here. Could someone please clarify the following points? 1. If he was revered as a saintly figure, why did his followers commit numerous murders leading up to June 1984? This cannot be simply blamed on 3 journalists doing bad propaganda against him. This didn’t happen 1000 years ago. There was lot of news on this covered by esteemed Sikh journalists too. There was lot of evidence, not necessarily directly implicating him, but happened under his watch. 2. If he was a true religious leader who respected the sanctity of Harmandir Sahib, why were there killings within the complex under his watch? What prompted the introduction of weapons into this sacred space, transforming it into a battleground? 3. Why is the deployment of security forces to restore law and order considered wrongful, especially when the area had already become a conflict zone rife with violence and armed individuals? 4. I mean no disrespect to anyone or anything. I am seeking to understand the reasons behind the deep resentment some hold towards the government, while simultaneously venerating the individual who seemingly played a role in these events as a saint.
Hi. I can't say that I know everything, especially about the killings as I'm looking for answers myself but I can answer some of what you asked. About the weapons, I don't think originally, weapons being in a Gurdwara harms its sanctity, that's not a sikh concept. Even if you go there today you'll find guards carrying weapons, maybe not guns but it probably depends on what the situation demands. For sikhs the ideal sikh should strive to be both a saint and a warrior, they don't have to be exclusive, something you see in practice throughout sikh history not just in theory. If you study the background and events leading upto 84, since the independence of India, from Punjabi Suba movement to events in years before 84, you'll see that the government often did injustice so ofc there was mistrust. Furthermore, the demands and problems initially were economic and political, more than religious. The operation wasn't planned within a few days to arrest Bhindrawale but months in advance as the guy who was originally supposed to carry it out said on record. People who blame Bhindrawale, as I initially did, do so when they learn the narrative that he was the cause of the attack. But as you go deeper into the background and causes, you realize that he was the one who tackled an existing situation or one that was in process of building, not the cause, which is why he's revered. Personally, I'm learning about him so I havent cleared him of suspicion yet, but I do think he was not the cause even if he was a problematic individual. Anyway, thanks for trying to learn rather than believing what you see or hear

@@ziachurail1931 Thank you immensely for dedicating time to offer insights on various matters. It is widely recognized that the decades spanning the 1960s to the 1990s in India were marked by tumultuous events. The era (even since 1947) was rife with unfulfilled promises and widespread distrust. (In fact there were broken promises even now. Laws passed by parliament were never implemented or Prime minster’s assurances in full house of parliament were never respected). In response to these challenges, numerous local leaders adopted peaceful methods to bring about change. While some resorted to violence, as a nation, we hold in the highest esteem those leaders who achieved their goals through nonviolent means. Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, for instance, is known to have selflessly worked for a noble cause, and although his methods may not be universally accepted, his dedication is undeniable. It has been observed that even those who commend him do not endorse his violence; rather, they tend to attribute the blame elsewhere. It is my sincere hope that discussions about him remain factual, devoid of any mystification, allowing us to honor his rightful legacy in history.

@@ziachurail1931 I understand bringing/displaying weapons in Darbar Sahib may be ok for Sikh tradition. But bringing war weapons, killings, making fortifications and essentially making it battleground doesn’t amount to sacrilege? Why create grudge on government for this? I donot agree with lot of policies of government of the day or its leaders but I have to agree that they dealt with this challenge (operation blue star) with strong sense of patriotism, national integrity & selflessness as well(one has to agree that India dealt other national integrity challenges same way-without any bias). Most of the Punjab’s populace has come to terms with the fact that errors were made by all involved parties, choosing forgiveness and seeking closure. Why these foreigners continue create rift after all these years? Why dont they find peace in their adaptive lands and move on with their lives? Why spread these myths? It is concerning when even a single person is swayed by such divisive tales. My earnest hope for these foreign citizens is to shift towards more positive endeavors, better careers rather than the perpetuation of untruths.
