I’m really curious what kind of bike computer/speedometer that is on your handle bar. It’s not listed on the site. I’m looking for one and like the looks of that one.

i had no clue those trails where there. I stopped riding about 10 years back. just got a bike this week and can't wait. that's gonna be my new local.

Worked like a charm for me. Not just for the boost, it also kept me from leaning too far back on the lip, which often resulted in almost-OTBs. It does take a bit of courage when looking at that big vertical wall coming at you, haha. Another great tip I got from a local rider was to try and keep active during the jump. Move the bike a bit, give a bit of steeze. Anything that keeps you from locking up into the air.

Definitely working on adding the steeze in the air!

Great vid! Quick Ari question, did you consider the Nebo Peak before going Timp, or did you want to keep the same Geo as your analog bike?

Thanks! I actually bought the Timp before the Nebo came out. There’s a chance I will get a Nebo to demo for a review so I could do a proper comparison. 🙏🏼

Got a chance to ride it a couple of weeks ago. Rode up Escalator from the bottom of Bread and Butter in Eco mode since my 43 year old son was on an analog bike. Made it to the last switchback at the top and had to stop and cool off. Went down Bread and Butter. It was more than I was ready for. Rode most of it. You guys made it look easy. Great video!

Man, I'm going to be honest this whole trail system seems like it's rated like one down. That green was definitely like a blue and those black offshoots looked crazy steep. I think this whole system is beyond my ability to venture out from Nashville. To be fair I’m a newbie and don’t know what I’m talking about. I’m mostly hanging at percy warner and cedar hill.
@midlifeshredder11 күн бұрын
If you can handle Showtime or Copperhead at CH you’re good here. 🤙🏼 But either way this place has progressivity built in. There’s more here that I didn’t show as well.

I've purchased a Decathlon cassette tool and will never go back to the classic style of chain whip. With the design and sturdiness of the tool I don't think I will ever have too either.
@estherriley401120 күн бұрын
I quite like my feedback sports stand. Moral of the story is expect to pay at least 200 for a good (new) stand. The tool tray does cost extra though, I bought it over the park tool purely because it folds up easily and has three legs versus the two on the cheaper park tool stands. It does however sometimes wanna tip depending on how level your ground is or how you have the bike angled.
@midlifeshredder20 күн бұрын
That’s the one thing I like about the Park Tool, stable, even with an emtb in it. Its folds up pretty easy. Mine always stays up but my buddy has one and he folds his up each time.
@mikeaaronnewman130520 күн бұрын
You're getting fancy with that cap on the PVC pipe. I use a scrap wood and a rubber mallet. I have two sizes of PVC on hand for crown races: one for straight steerers and one for tapered. For the chain whip - I 100% agree. I had a cheap one bend under torque and become useless.

I have switched from the beet powder to a power greens mix. After about a year I felt like the beet powder wasn’t helping much. I’ve also had to be picky about the carbs I can have. I’ve found I’ve been having an increase intolerance to wheat so any carbs are gluten free or rice based.

Nice list, sir. I just returned yesterday from a weekend trip down there. Hit Drop the Hammer for the first time, so pretty happy about that. I don't know if they did something to Jessie's Last Stand since I was last down there in July 2023, but it was rolling fast -- seems like one of the hidden gems of the system even though it's right off All American.
