1:09:35 I have not seen that sort of bug since the early days of this game with the hood disappearing. Sometimes you will end up finding it (which you could put it back on if you did) or you would have to save, quit and reload to get your hood back. I thought I'd never see that sort of bug again

I have wanted to play this game since it came out but i have never had a good pc to play it on. Once i get my ps5 later on this year, this is the first game that i am purchasing it on there and finally going to be able to play it..... i can not wait

If you do Building mission I need help figuring out what is min size: 400m2, max size: 900m2 because the guide book does not help.

Just a note that came to my mind when I was watching.. I’m wondering @20:26 when you run the washplant without turning on the water. Are you actually losing paydirt? It appears the gold in the conveyor dropped to around 86% before you went and turned on the water. Or is it stored in the shaker until you run the water? Great stream btw :)

I don't think it matters in the game. You can turn on either first and it doesnt mess anything up. I remember seeing the show, they always talked about turning off the water first. So turn it on last. Keeps from washing paydirt out.

At this point, this video isnt even necessary. This has been out so long, I have streams of it out. And honestly, the title says QUICK OVERVIEW. Not complete overview. Thanks for helping the algo though!

I think Contractville is so much better than HS or HS2. Some of the nit-picky things you say you don't like about the features of the game, you will learn to like later in the gameplay.

I think from what Ive played, I might agree with you now. Lol There is just way more "YOU" in the game if that makes sense. You have to go to the store to buy and sell. You have to load the truck up. It all comes down to you. Just from what Ive played so far.

Thanks for the demo review! I love the game and have played many hours in FD and LD. Also, if the devs choose to include plank dryers, I hope they consider making it more gamey than realistic. If they involve drying and it takes forever, I’ll pass on the game because I won’t willfully sacrifice that much of my time on it.

I have not. I’m guessing since it’s says 2024. And they are rolling out the demo with steam next fest, it will be sometime in late autumn or early winter.

I for one am not liking the AI voice acting...I feel like I'm on the phone and they are trying to sell me insurance. Game has a lot of old look (FD1) to the game.

Yep, not a fan of it, was just surprised they included voice at all. I did mention a while back after seeing it on twitter. Looked like they were using the same engine and some assets. Im not 100% sure if thats the case. Just looks like it.

Oh I agree, its taking jobs. That doesnt change the fact that its coming. Its not going to do me any good to saying anything about it. I guess I could refuse to play a game that uses AI voice actors. Not sure I have nearly enough clout to make a difference though.

@DeuceMS I am still gonna play it as I love the dynasty series, and sorry, I didn't mean to imply you were impressed. It was more of a statement to you saying they had voice. The AI used isn't even sophisticated as the lady sounds super robotic, and I am pretty sure the protagonist voice is the same as in the lumberjack dynasty. I hope they were given a bigger budget for FD2 as I loved the first one. Love the content. Thanks for putting a video out :D

@@landonfehr4863 Oh yeah. No worries. It probably comes off like that due to text. And honestly if I were to say it, would likely sound that way... Lol I understand completely. Bone13 who commented here has a series call Tales from the Janitor on his channel and all the podcast places. Hundreds of voice actors involved. We talk about this topic some. I dont want to see voice actors pushed out. But I think its coming. But there is really only one option. Refuse to buy games that uses AI. But it would take everyone. And if the last few years has shown me anything, its that, its impossible to get people to agree on anything. Much less 1 thing. haha.

Doesn't look too bad actually. Enjoyed the first game for a bit, but my biggest issue was the rendering issues, buggy implements and the driving mechanics.

The rendering will likely be the same as it seems to be built on the same engine, or upgraded version of said engine. But the tractor driving felt pretty good. Full video in description.

im not sure I would expect it any time soon. Looks like it will not be out, in early access, on steam until later this year. But Hopefully, it will and will be good.

So after the convo on stream today about this. They made Last Oasis. They moved on from it without an 1.0 release. I was under the impression they had released a game and then dumped it a month later. Im not excusing it, just putting it in the category of moving on from a poor preforming game. It was popular for about 2 months. I played it in the very early days. I hope they actually finish this one. It has me intrigued.
