Every time you squint at the screen, I think you're trying to read livestream chat 😄 - you definitely need a bigger monitor for that, and hopefully we'll see you two livestreaming soon!

Ahaha yeah - just squinting at the tiny flip out screen from the main camera. I do have a external monitor I want to try just need to get the right cables (Micro HDMI to mini HDMI or something like that 😅)

Everyone I know who has played Cartographers in person has said they use coloured pencils or markers 😃. Nice review, although you're right the plants in the foreground are distracting, at least the camera still kept focus on your faces! Nice shoutout to the Nerd Shelves! Also, for a roll-and-draw like this, remember how long you take to play the game depends on how long you take to make the artwork, haha.

So lucky the camera kept focus this time! Aha true regarding the time based on the level of detail we add. It was pushing midnight when we filmed this one so that probably didn't help with me feeling it took so long, especially considering there was -no- artwork going on at my end 🤣

The plants still look great! And I agree about the pencils. I use colour pencils to fill in mine. No idea what the card is. Maybe solo? Or a promo card to put into Roll Player?

Thanks for the comment :) I wish I left a section of the video before I applied a transform to scale/move it. The plant by me was taking up at least 1/4, pushing 1/3, of the screen lol. A big "oh no..." when I sat down to start the edit. And yep, seems the card is indeed a promo card for their other game Roll Player 🎉

Sorry if the audio sounds bad in this one, I'm forever learning how to get good with these microphones, and this time around it seems on of the transmitters failed us... Also the plant placement 😆Whoops. Plants and audio aside, I hope you enjoy this video, and please, if anyone knows what that mystery card is about, do let us know 😊

Hey great video! We love Wingspan. Like you noted, we love how the mechanisms tie into bird behavior. We have brown headed cowbirds near our house and we know how they'll drop their eggs in other birds nests - something Wingspan replicates. Anyhow welcome to the content creation community!!

Thank you so much for your kind words 😊 Oh cool that you have cowbirds near you! 🐦⬛We still need to play the European expansion physical copy, so we can see some familiar faces 😅 We love how many birds there are to play with within the game. Shame about the audio quality in this one, I think I got it a bit better in our more recent videos.

My husband and I played Tranquility at a smallish convention, last game of the day. It was really good to sit back and be quiet for a little while, but the game was meaty and thinky enough to keep our interest. The illustrations are lovely. Another great video!! 👍👍Lol

Great first game for a fun and in-depth review! I think that bloopers are charming and a great idea. And I’d love to learn more about the Beans Token mascot! (Is their name Beans perchance?)

Many thanks for checking it out and the comment ☺️ aha the bean/cat token at the end there is Nanina, and while she has some cute beans I more frequently refer to her as a pumpkin or a loaf of bread 😂 I’m sure we’ll feature more of her in later videos.

Ahhh thanks so much! 😊 the Bloopies will 100% stay a thing - I don't think we can ever get through a filming session without making a few blunders 😅 As for the tokens of greatness, they've had some refinement since we filmed this. We will have a new way of rating things going forward, in addition to this "award", aha. Thanks again for checking it out.
