The resort fee was around $45 a night and the security deposit was again about $50 a night it only held on the card and then returned/released on check out.

Hi - sorry but no, you won’t be able to. LHR keep departures and arrivals distinctly separate and the clubhouse is in the departure side. Virgin do have an arrivals lounge at Heathrow but this closes at 12:30 so seems like you will miss that too. Sorry

At checkin there were both American Air and BA staff (well they were in airline uniforms) and the lounge checkin was the same. Can’t remember about the lounge staff, but in fairness they were all really and good and efficient.

Yes you are correct they do. Unfortunately they don’t fly any planes with first class from Vegas anymore so would have had to take a voluntary downgrade.

@@cmftravel3125 no, British airways uses the 777 there, which has first class. Korean air also flies there and they use the A330 I believe, which also has first class.

@@SYDAirlineEnthusiast not all BA 777’s have first class. Since they retired the 747’s BA haven’t flown planes with first to LAS. Only to LAX and SFO.

Love Southwest. Great airline, flexible fares and friendly crews. Wish more airlines were like Southwest.

At the time the first lounge was closed so we had no choice ☹️. But back to LA in April so will have a look then!

The flight was around 17:30 and was the first BA flight of the day (I think) - it is a One World lounge so would imagine there were a few others but it did seem to get busier as the afternoon went on.

I don’t know for certain so I would say ask at checkin for your first flight. With that said - I think your bags will be checked through automatically and you won’t see them until you arrive at your final destination 🤞BA and AA are partners and share flight codes so really think this is likely but definitely check!

If you're flying from the UK as an example, and flying to the USA with a domestic connection in the USA, you would need to exit as if you were getting out at that city. There are no flight connections for international>domestic in the USA. You clear immigration, then you *MUST* pick up your bag at reclaim, then you clear Customs. After that, you have to check in as per normal for your domestic flight. No special treatment for international>domestic flight connections. Any other questions, please feel free to ask.

If you're doing USA domestic>international, then you can follow flight connections. There is no exit immigration in the USA. Some airports might not have international flight connections, so you might have to check-in as per normal, but your bag should be sent to your international flight automatically.

2k is a good seat. In my opinion they are all great seats! The centre ones are good if you are travelling with someone as they are a bit more sociable. If flying solo the A’s and K’s are definitely best.

No we didn’t see anyone. We haven’t had a lot of luck with that anytime that we have flown.
