Paint it graphite grey and monarch orange. Both are metallic paints. Give it an old race bike stripe on side fairings.

Hey man! Congrats on your build! I aamm making my own cafe racer build and im planning on creating a full body fairing myself. I just wonder 2 things. How are you planning on holding the fairing in place and if you mount the headlight inside the fairing or with brackets and just slide it in the fairing body! Thanks in advance for your help!!!!
@Biggerthanbikes25 күн бұрын
That’s awesome! Hope it goes well for you! I am currently working on mounting the fairing right now and that will be my next video so make sure to watch for that! And I am planning on making brackets behind the fairing to mount the headlight

I have not yet, it is very low, I am thinking of ways that I can raise it up a bit
@thagingerninjer5391Ай бұрын
@@BiggerthanbikesI would bring the rear shock mount down just a bit, to raise it a bit. Have you done any measurements on the rake of the bike, to see how close you are to the stock rake for the bike you got the swingarm off of?

Good evening, what brand are those carburetors? I'm interested in my kz650.
@BiggerthanbikesАй бұрын
They are Kiehn CR carbs
@seth7750Ай бұрын
I struggled with this same problem for months just to realize the intake boots from the carb to the engine were not sealed completely causing it to run on two cylinders the carb boots on your bike appear to be the only thing you haven't replaced

I'm definitely no expert but I would check the CDI. I had a KLR600 that showed spark but wouldn't fire consistently. I later found out it was a faulty CDI. I would just like to say Ive followed your build with much interest Im sure you will sort out the issue and complete the build. I think its a beautiful cafe racer worthy of a place on Racer TV in my humble opinion! Good luck SR

Curious how you would change it? It matches what the Ducati manual says and it only fits on one way. I’m no expert but I’m pretty positive it’s mounted correctly
