So what about when you are in a difficult spot; with uneven surface, when you simply can't go fast? Not drivers fault at all.... this is low-grade product. Nobody buys the R51 in NZ because they are crap.

I go over worse than that with 2'' lift and road tyres, problem was too slow its not made of glass and that was barely worse than a speed bump
@jonathanlucero78

Yeah you can easily make it through that, I was just trying the traction control to see if it would help me out, and it actually is not as easy as a speed bump in real life, video doesn’t really show how it was

awesome build!! Couple questions, i have very little knowledge about the Pathfinders, what is an R51? also, do you experience alot of fender rubbing with the adapters and 33's? and lastly, does the stock gearing accomodate the 33s well or will you have to regear? thanks bro and keep up the great work!!
@jonathanlucero78
@jonathanlucero78 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! And R51 is the 2005-2012 body style, and yes I had a lot of fender rubbing so I had to trim the front fenders. The gearing is not that bad, although I get 12.7 mpg combined lol

May I ask for your advice? I have a 2006 and I'd like to swap the front fascia with that of a current Nissan Frontier. If you were in my place, May I ask what you'd look for in order to see what's compatible?
@jonathanlucero78
@jonathanlucero78 3 жыл бұрын
Honestly I have no idea, I would say the front fenders, bumper and the hood, as well as the lights of course. However, I don’t know if the holes for everything are in the same place as our pathfinders or if Nissan changed them when they did the facelift

@@jonathanlucero78 try reading your manual, the 4x4 and offroading section, especially if you're going to spend thousands of dollars modifying it. When you put it in 4Lo and turn VDC off you enable ABLS which is a brake-locking control system that will brake the slipping wheels. It's like A-trac in Toyota. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/obaVlNZpytfLgqc.html
