It still stings that season 3 of fear is where the show really found its footing. It may have been mixed to people in the beginning but it really had something special to it. The acting and the intensity of scenes between certain characters and their dark descents was awesome. To know it basically was cancelled and transformed into a literal zombie itself, is what hurts.

Of course, of fcking course, people hated Erickson's work but loved it AFTER the show got soft-rebooted, after he was kicked out, fcking fanbase ruined the show not AMC. Had it not been for all the fcking criticism, Erickson would have stayed on. The fanbase is just as stupid and moronic as AMC is in their bad days. People were quick to shit on the spinoff. No one can convince the fanbase didn't ruin the show, because it did, the fanbase is to blame. Suddenly people just came back and actually loved what Erickson was doing, unbelievable.

You also forgot to mention his time in rehab with his ex and him learning about his father's passing but still a good video, And this episode reminds me of how I liked the Morgan and Eastman episode and that both were a mixed bag amongst viewers

I would've liked to see Nick and Chris be different sides of the same coin. Two teenage boys who quickly adapt to the apocalypse in similar ways, but give more time for Chris to develop into the apathetic person he is by the end. Being a duality to Nick, and possibly showing what he could become

Honestly I kinda hate the walking dead. I think it's lazy show with 90% of the characters being the same. Even the season arcs are largely derivative of one another. It definitely has superb moments but the show as a whole never worked for me.

Literally him, the hispanic guy, and the black guy was the only reason I liked the show in terms of the characters.

It lowkey breaks my heart how wrong this show got done. After the first 3 seasons, I truly believed this show was going to be better then the main show. How wrong I was. Nick was such a relatable character, the most relatable, to me, in the whole walking dead universe. I'll forever be sad about how this show got done. It is what it is, though.

Fear The Walking Dead wasn't my favorite, Season 1 was awesome, Season 2 kind of annoyed me, Season 3 I hardly remember I watched a lot of it in the background while cleaning and things like that, but I agree Nicks death is when I started to lose interest, I mean I still stuck around to the season finale of whatever season Morgan joined and then after that I gave up and never watched another episode

As a Zadar local (more or less) I am happy you liked it, and yes, Plitvice lakes NP is amazing. Pitty you didn't go to the islands close to Zadar. You can find both way tickets for like 20 euros (or less, didnt go in a long time), enjoy a few hours ferry with amazing views, stay on an island for 5-10 hours, ride back during the sunset... it's really nice. Completely agree. And I’ve always said, if they had to kill him, why not in the big emotional climatic moment where he stays behind on the dam for his family to escape? Instead of a throwaway garbage death in a random filler episode only a few episodes later. Nick was the backbone of the show and deserved so much better than to go out like that.

The plot of the source material is carls coming of age story when they killed carl they completely lost me.

I watched TWD from start to finish multiple times, but I always loose interest after season 8.

The whole reason I started fear the walking dead after finishing the main show was because I wanted to see Morgan, but along the way watching the first 3 season I started liking nick a lot, and at the beginning of season 4 where Morgan is trying to help nick get over his moms death I thought it was amazing seeing these 2 characters talk, then moments later he died and I stopped watching the show

People hated him but i didn’t mind him. He’s actually a very realistic and dynamic character. I wouldn’t have liked the show as much if he wasn’t there. Wish he stayed longer
