0:48 Have just had the 4.0 fitted to my 2023 WR250F.Thanks Brisbane Dirtbike Services and after 2 days on the bike I have to say that as a 63 year old retired bricklayer with a worn out body it’s awesome.Had a bit of “hunting” after 5 hours as the idle speed had climbed up a bit but was easily fixed with a little adjustment at the idle screw. But am getting that “grungy”noise at times when taking off.Have you got an answer for this or I’m thinking if we both have this it might be normal.Doesn’t bother me too much and only happens sometimes.

I bought a 2023 250f that the owner had bought for his wife that after 3 hours realized it was too much bike for her.Lowered and full Akra system.Iv'e put on the G2 throttle tamer which i used forever and helped heaps with flameouts and throttle control in the rock gardens.Rode for 4 hours at Glasshouse last week with no flameouts and a handfull af stalls.Pretty happy but am still getting a Rekluse installed next week.63 year old bricklayers hands are struggling with the clutch on long rides.Have ridden a few mates with Rekluse and was pretty impressed. Can't wait to get back to Wandy to test it on home tracks.

I’ve got a 2023 250F wr also love the bike it’s exceeded my expectations I’ve got about 175 hours on my bike now with 4160 km . I didn’t have to do a thing to my bike except some hand guard , decals one new tire so far on the rear I used the Dunlop Mx 34 hybrid gummy I loved the Mx 33 it got lots of traction in the kinds of places I ride . I’ve have done the first valve inspection everything is perfectly in spec still I really don’t ride my bikes to abuse them I’m hardly over 10 to 12,000 rpm and that’s only on the dirt roads logging roads and fire roads we have up here in northern Ontario Canada. Yha I don’t think I’d like that recluse clutch sure it has its place maybe when I’m older and need it I’ll get one but right now it’s the whole reason for riding bike for me that feeling of a clutch and throttle in my hand .

These races look hella fun and hard! I’m 14 and want to start doing the off road championships in the junior class. Just about to get a 250 4t soon, should I get something with harder suspension like the wr250f you have or will a bit softer be fine. Also where do you start like getting a race number and stuff, I might start practicing at the macleay enduro track in kempsey

Any 250 4t would do to race you can always adjust the suspension of the bike you have for the track you are riding. About racing you have to join ridernet online and become a member of a club that is hosting one of the rounds. You have to do this for all racing in Australia, plus you will also need a MA license or a day license to race in one of the events. NSW off road championship have a facebook page and they post when the races are coming up on there. The next round is up at Kempsey on the 17th 18th of August if you wanted to come and watch or race up to you mate I hope that helps, I might put up a video of how to join up on ridernet.

flame outs and a jerky off idle is the wr 250 real issue between the trees more fun than a KTM out in the open but as soon as your on and off the throttle is the slow stuff the ktm wins by a long way. the app only helps so far and does not fix the issue which is a bummer

I’ve got the 2023 Wr 250f I got the competition ECU with it’s ccu I didn’t do the air box yet I fabricated my own gytr race baffle because it’s not available here in Canada wasn’t hard at all I’m one year into riding my bike now and love the thing 3000 km maybe 93 hours now I think maybe less I haven’t looked in a while but I ride like almost every day. Mostly single track bush stuff some times fire roads together to the next trail . I really want to get a full exaust system soon but I just changed the stock tire to a Dunlop mx34 dropped to a 48 rear tooth, I think maybe that’s going to be to much I’m going to buy a 50 next week I’m also just now pulling all the bearing to grease them up . As when these bikes come from the dealer they do not have enough grease in the bearings with in two to three seasons they will be finishes

Good to hear you enjoy the WR they are a great bike and you don’t need to do much to them for the bike to be comfortable

I know you" your that guy that is always wearing polk salad around your neck. get you a bicycle and ride it a little couple of times each week and hit the gym couple of times each week get you some crime to put on the self. If you are getting chrome now leave it there. , but if you want to create skill and talent? get that ass of that seat. You need to get the right size something that fits you. because that bike istoo big for you.
