Dudley Castle how most of us have never seen it before. I remember when I was a kid my Grandad used to tell me stories about how he would see Cromwell at the top of the castle from the back bedroom as you could see it a mile and a half from my Nan and Grandads house. Fast forward over 35 years later and I now live in the same house. It puts a smile on my face looking out of that window and remembering that memory. One day soon I really hope I can pass that story on to my own kids.

Amazing. I've seen these many, many times and even stood in the car park and watched but never gone to the top of the car park. Promised my son as soon as we're off lockdown, we'll walk down!

Hi there, I know this is a fairly old video. But could tell me yourexperience with the Eye-fi card in general, and if you used any new wi-fi cards later with 1100d. I own an 1100d, and wanted to know if it is worth buying a Eye-fi or the newer SD cards with wi-fi.
@TopUKPhotographer6 жыл бұрын
Vishal Dhiman never had huge luck with any cards. Tried a toshiba flash air a while back and had other problems with it. Toshiba flash air works with eyefi cloud storage which helps.

I used the term music as in lay man's terms. I am actually a method ringer funny enough. You clearly understand so you must also be one of the same breed. Any chance of some history on these bells as I can't find anything. Thanks
@TopUKPhotographer7 жыл бұрын
Yes, I'm of the breed as well, but haven't touched a rope for a few years apart from ringing for some special occasions. Likewise, I've no idea on the history, apart from knowing that they have always been hung dead, 6 bells, and I'd guess about 9cwt. I can hear them from my house.
@Cantorisalto17 жыл бұрын
great use of camera work and music. Am i right in thinking the bells chime a tune here. Maybe record some footage with the actual bells themselves ?

Places like this are on my Family Tree..That sounds odd but it is True. My Maternal Grandfather was from Great Britain, I was born in Ontario Canada. My Grandpa was a Kittermaster, but we got the Family Tree done going back to the 10th and 11th Centuries.. We knew he had some Sir's, a Knight or two and Lords etc , but he was just a Lawyer. His father was obviously also Kittermaster one of the Albert Reuben one's (The Family tended to keep reusing old family names going back a very long time.) Just telling this in case anyone reads who is interested in lineage going back to Castles, Royal Halls etc. When myself and 4 cousins pass away there will be no further live descendants in all of Canada left who had a parent directly out of a Kittermaster..My mom and her two Sister's were the last remaining people directly out of a Kittermaster, in all of Canada. We do still have Relatives that left Britain and emigrated to USA. The other side of my Grandfather's family were Dudley's and Owen's... The Dudley's have a Hall over in Britain, but I have not yet seen the Dudley Hall and I think there may be Castle Ruins over there somewhere. I have been over several times but have not yet gone to see the Dudley Places. It is interesting..but LOL, believe me..you don't feel like the Elite, we are just normal folks who happen to have ancestor's who somehow became Titled.. On the Family Tree it is interesting to see the varying spellings of the name down through History. I loved seeing the old Castles.. and I absolutely LOVE Wales. My Maternal Grandma lived many years in LLangollen Wales. Beautiful Town. My Father was born in Motherwell Scotland and was the son of a Dirt Poor Coal Miner who died when my father was 4 years old..His mom was a House Cleaner for the Wealthy..Definitely No Castles LOL on their side. Best Wishes Kathleen...PS I am really enjoying seeing all these Video's that are a part of my Families History

I love LLangollen.. I bought many lovely figurines made from Coal there. I love a little Restaurant that is overlooking the Rapids in a River. It is actually a Hotel ... I used to sing as a Child and teen.. and so I managed to find the Phonetic Version on here of Calon Lan and learned to sing it. That is all I can sing in Welsh, but my Gran would like that, she used to sing in Welsh a lot

make sure you check the old thermal fuse for continuity before ordering...I have a mercedes with the same style blower resistor module and my thermal fuse was NOT blown but my fan only worked on the highest speed setting...the ceramic was cracked and i'm not sure what went wrong but I had to order a new one - got an aftermarket 'dorman' brand for about $25

I replaced resistor, it resolve the issue with fan. The other things I saw, it gets too hot quickly. It is so hot I cannot touch using my bare hands. Is this common?
@TopUKPhotographer7 жыл бұрын
peaceloverchap it's a heat fuse so yes, it gets hot. It's designed to stop when it gets too hot (before it's so hot a fire may start), so yes, it'll be VERY hot in there.

I suspect that frequent failure as I am experiencing is down to dry and stiff bearings in the fan motor. Mine has blown 3 in fairly quick succession. I will lubricate the fan bushes next time I go in.
