This dog is not 'strategizing' - it's simply a bad starter. It has to get into it's race and then runs well at the end. End of story. People always like to over analyse simple things and create pattern and logic where it doesn't exist..

if you start fast, you got no kick at the end. Clearly Swift Fantasy knows this because she times the finish just perfect. One more lap and these dogs would be utterly destroyed and Swift Fantasy could just walk down the homestretch.

I rate her with zoom top Kirsty charity and a few other elite dogs best of the best I think stayers get a little more praise cause a sprint if your dog don’t jump or close over 400m your gone but a dog who never jumps and runs in 700+ metres always have a chance to get into the race.

this is horiffic! i cant believe this is classed as a sport! i adopted a greyhound 2 years ago... all they want is love, food and a shelter.... rhey don't deserve this! they are sweet natured gorgeous dogs who just want to be loved! the racers treat the dogs like they are sh*t. if they don't win a race they get hung, shot, starved or left on the side of the road! 😡🖕 ONE LIKE= 1 RESPECT TO THE GREYHOUNDS THAT LOST THEIR LIFE TO THESE CRUEL MONSTERS. Emily Shone vlogs What? In Australia they definitely don't get hung, shot, starved or left on the side of the road. And they absolutely love to chase, it's in their instinct. Until you've seen the happiness on a Greyhounds face when he realises they're at the track, you can't judge it.

MrTwisties1234 its in britain. i am aware that some countries treat them differently. my dog hated it. i went to a race when i was 5. the dogs looked bloody petrified.

Emily Shone vlogs Yeah it's a lot different in other countries. We have 2 ex racing greyhounds here at home, they both had 1 race but weren't very fast so we've kept them as pets. They still love to go to the track just to run it though, just not in races lol

iiemily shoneii but here in Ireland we take great care of our racers and when its time to retire we make sure that the get a 5 star home its really different here me love our lil puppers we have a state of the art kennel to keep em in too
