I couldn't really see clearly how much you could recline. I wanted to try the premium economy (business is waaay outta my budget) solely because I'd like to be able to get some shut eye. Economy seat for flight > 4hrs for me is absolute hell (esp for night flight). But anyway, this is quite a detailed review, love it!

Hi @jacksmithon - thanks for your question. The Premium Economy seats are actually an 8 inch recline (approx. 20.2 cm). I showed a side angel of the seat reclined next to the other seat upright in the video but it wasn't so clear so hopefully the measurement will assist you. I am not tall but I found that reclining the seat the maximum amount of 8 inches, plus extending the calf rest and resting my feet on the foot rest allowed me to relax and get some sleep. As you saw from the video, it was the first time I was flying in Premium with Singapore Airlines and I was very impressed. For your reference, if you are flying on the B777 aircraft, on the AB and HK seats in the first row, there is no window and no foot rest as it is the first row but you get a lot of extra leg room. The middle seats in the first row have (DEFG seats) have no foot rest as the bulkhead is in front. All the other seats in the Premium Cabin have the foot rest as there are seats in front. I found it was worth the amount (personally). (Alternatively, if you are flexible with your travel dates, you can check both premium and business fares as different dates can have significant price differences). Hope this information helps you. Thanks again for your question and thanks for subscribing - it really helps the channel!

Hello Lia. Thank you for putting together such a comprehensive view of the resort. We are heading to the resort in August. There are several vegans in our group. Did the resort offer much in the way of vegan food choices. Hoping you can advise.

Hi Helen, I'm so glad my video has helped you. So excited that you will be staying there in August! I am vegetarian (but not vegan) so here is the info I can tell you about the food at the resort: If you are having the full buffet breakfast - there is a really good selection of fruits - cut up fruits and whole fruits. There is also an assortment of salads, fruit juices and freshly made juice mixes. There is also the Indian food selection (which I love) that is usually veg/vegan as it was not cream based curries. At the cafe located in the lobby (called 28g - the one in my video) they also have a selection of salad rolls and sandwiches) as well as non-dairy based milk (I had the soy lattes made by the staff there Sangeeta and Elenoa that are fantastic)! The only thing i cannot tell you is about the bread. I don't know if there are vegan options for the breads. However, I do know the staff were super accommodating for my daughter and I. As for the dinner food, you have the options of the full buffet dinner with a different theme most nights or the restaurant (where I had the vegies selection most nights- delicious!). There is also coconut water available at the hotel which i always find is a nourishing and healthy drink. The staff at the hotel are super accommodating (even with room service). Also, there is a convenience store located just outside the entrance to the Sheraton Fiji Resort. (Just as a side note, you can also take the Bula Bus to Port Denerau or other resorts for a dinner to mix up the food options). Hope this info helps you and your group! Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for your comment and thank you so much to you and your group for subscribing to my channel - it helps a lot!

So beautiful! Would you know if the diptyque bath amenities are free to take home?
@LiaMuniz
@LiaMuniz 2 ай бұрын
Hi there, Such a great question! The large sized bottles of the Diptique amenities are in the shower, however there is actually a sign located on top of the little amenities drawer in the bathroom (the drawer where i show my hand opening the little drawers in the video). It has the prices if you want to take any of the amenities home, including the diptique amenities and plush Ritz Carlton robes. I can't remember the exact prices that I read but the amenities were somewhere between $35 - $75 I think, with the robes being at least a couple of hundred dollars, if not more. In saying that, all the amenities are very luxurious and well worth it if you like that feeling of creating a luxury hotel stay in your home. Hope this info helps you. Hi Tony, Most people that stay on the main Island are choosing to have a resort style vacation, swimming in the resort/hotel swimming pools. I have stayed at numerous resorts in both Denarau and Sonaisali Islands and I have seen people swimming. I personally have not. Instead, I have been out on day trips to other islands and have gone swimming there. For Fiji, it really depends on what style of holiday you would like. Thanks for your comment and for subscribing!

Hey Lia! Just watched your video. I'm curious to know how old your daughter was on this flight? How did you go with her been next to you but no direct access? Would it have been better to have one window seat and one next to it on the isle? I'll be going with Fiji airways from melbs to Vancouver via nadi and can't decide which seats we should book! It's going to be a long flight and don't want to pick the wrong seats. Curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks
@LiaMuniz
@LiaMuniz 2 ай бұрын
Hi @gennybee675 - thanks for watching the video. My daughter was exactly 3 years old when I did this flight. Since she was 2 years old and had to be in her own seat I have been choosing the middle seats when we are in business class. Even though there is no direct access to each other, I still prefer this option while she is really little as I can see her and she can see me, I can pass things to her like toys, books or her drinks and I have even leaned over slightly to hold her hand on take-off. As she gets older I will definitely be choosing a window seat and an adjacent seat so we both have aisle access but as most airlines have a staggered style of seating, it means at the moment she would not be able to see me or hold my hand if need be which is more important at this stage. If your young ones are a bit older, I would be happy to choose business class seats with aisle access. I hope this information helps you. There is no right or wrong and I have certainly thought a lot about this myself. She is also going to love the window seat when she's a bit older! I am so excited for your trip from Melb to Vancouver via Nadi. @@zahidbappy991 Yes you can definitely go from the Double Tree Hilton to the airport at any time of the day/night. Even summer gets the extreme weather events with the desert heat thunderstorms and the weather events can be dangerous and be safe to watch lightning and the rain falling on the ground and also hear the sound of thunder afterwards from the lightning strikes. The storms can be very severe in the central Australian desert and safe to watch it in Uluru or Ayers Rock in the Australia’s Northern Territory and be safe to watch extreme weather conditions at the Ayers Rock Resort and please be careful during storms hit in the southern part of Northern Territory and lightning is one of most powerful forces of nature and it is nature’s high voltage and the strong gusty winds pick up during thunderstorms and the heavy downpours of rain falling in torrents causes flash floods in the desert. You be prepared for the extreme weather events of the intense thunderstorms during the summer months of heavy rain and lightning and thunder and the straight line winds can blow everything down if it is not secure loose objects and please secure loose objects during storms hit the area of high temperatures and rain cools everything off in the summer.
