It would be great if this series is live animation
@KathaYogamАй бұрын
Thanks for your interest. I tried animating but it's very time consuming and am also not getting the intended output. Currently I'm focused on telling the stories through images. Once I find time and the right tools, I'll adapt animation for the future episodes.

Cant listen this mis pronunciation any more....
@KathaYogamАй бұрын
I respect your decision. I responded to your comment about pronunciation in another comment thread and also put up this thought of pronunciation in the video as a disclaimer just before the episode name.

Can i get a answer? Why people pronounce wrong? Its Mahabharat, Vedvyas. Not mahabharata, Vedvyasa. Why indians are mispronouncing the indian words?
@KathaYogamАй бұрын
Hi Nikhil. Good question. Based on the region, the pronunciation changes. Since people have owned these epics so much that they refer to the names frequently as part of retelling the story and adapting names according to their language, accent and slang. For example, Mahabhat is also popularly called Mahabharatam in southern India.
@suvendukumarbastia1725Ай бұрын
No its not about region man....its habbitof follow English accent....i have never seen any problem in pronouncing problem in south asia region...please dont coverup on name of region...our grammar is totally different than English and more than capabled to pronounce these words
@KathaYogamАй бұрын
Good point. When narrating in English I could be adapting some names to suit the language of narration. But is that a bad thing? The main intention is telling a great epic and learning Dharma from some of the most inspiring characters. However, the examples here in the comments are "Vyasa" and "Mahabharata", which are not names for English adaptations. They are from Indian pronunciations. You are free to disagree based on your experiences though.

@@KathaYogam its not about good or bad...think about the those people who will learn from your videos from first time.....for them this is correct..right....
@KathaYogamАй бұрын
Absolutely. And I want to appreciate your intentions here along with your time. But again, my point is that the essence of the way of life thought by Mahabharat is the main intention. Few will see this as a way to learn Dharma, few will watch it for the drama and emotions and few will see it as irrelevant stories. I can only tell what I believe in and strive my best to get as much right information as possible. Rest is up to the listener. If I call Veda Vyas as Veda Vyasa, or Mahabharat as Mahabharata or Mahabharatam, I don't see any harm in anyone learning this name if they are seeing it for the first time.

is this based on original text, or just like other youtube video which are just based on rumors not on texts
@KathaYogamАй бұрын
Hi. Thanks for your interest. This is based on the English translated version of Vyasa's Mahabharata.

@@KathaYogamtranslated by who? That is the most important part
@KathaYogamАй бұрын
I have read a couple of books and heard many discourses over the years. But I refer to the translation from Kisari Mohan Ganguli often when creating these episodes.

Strašno. Sto više slusam saznajem da bogovi nisu ništa bolji od običnog naroda, ljudi. Sujetni, ljubomorni i zli. Sačuvaj me bože. Kome se tu moliti. Više zlim i moćnim ili manje zlim i nemoćnim. Najbolje nikom od tih satrapa jer oni su gori od nas
@KathaYogamАй бұрын
Thanks for your comment. Sanathana Dharma teaches that everyone (including Gods) are rewarded for good deeds and punished for bad deeds. These stories reinforce these teachings and should inspire people who listen to them to follow a righteous path.
