I’m getting locked extensions after 10.5 years of locing. Sadly my locs were thin and I went to hair stylist and not Locticians who really knew what they were doing. I feel robbed. 😭😭😭 My locs was down to my ssa and now I just feel so cheated. To put in prospective I started with 144 and ended with only 69 due to combining back to back. I just feel so robbed.

I've struggled with alopecia since 2011. It looked like this on the back side of my head for a few years. I was devastated. It grew back beautifully by 2022...full and thick with one tiny bald spot on the far right nape of my neck. I was very happy with the progress. Then I got too happy wearing banana clips early 2023 which caused some traction alopecia in the top. Over a year later and going to the dermatologist, getting steroid injections, taking oral medications, and a topical solution, my hair has been coming back over the past 4 mos. I'm 3 1/2 mos into my loc journey now and it is growing well. I wish I had started the loc journey 2 years ago before my hair started thinning. I'm excited about the journey though. I pray her hair grows back.
