Georgetown was never the same once mall left, restaurants left like ESPN zone, Paparazzi etc .... I miss the Coogi store and Gtown had biggest and best jewelry market like 15-20 vendors and jewelry makers under one roof

I love this Elder but I disagree with his stance against Africans and Africa. Wanting to be called black instead of African American, calling your black doesn’t identify you with nothing, it’s not a real identity nor nationality. African Americans need Africans and Africans needs African Americans

I often wondered what happened to Stacy Lattisaw over the years. I'm not big on sappy stories, but believe it or not, I owe this woman a huge 'thank you!' It was the late Spring of 1989 at a small house party on Long Island, when I heard her song 'Miracles,' play. At the time I was dating the woman I would marry later that year. There was something about hearing that song at that very moment in time that made me realize I was in love. After 35 years of being married to that same woman, this song- 'Miracles'- still comes to my mind as being the most important part of the most pivotal moment in my life. So as strange as it may sound, I owe Stacy Lattisaw thanks for making that moment happen and it's a moment I will never forget.

9:33 😂😂😂 gentrify? My brothers and sisters who owns the store and who is giving their last dime to buy the products? Who owns the company producing, marketing, advertising and shipping the products? Gentrification is the least of your worries.
