For you to hear the footsteps and guns reloading in battle you have to have to a headset that is closed back. You can Eq them to make some sounds pop out more than others, but I feel as if I picked up the open back that I would hear to much background noise, so for the closed back keeping all the sound in makes you hear more sound in a way, louder sound, this isn’t a bad thing when you need to hear everything
@ryanhostudio23 сағат бұрын
i guess it depends on your ambient noise and environment. You can always just turn it up louder to hear sounds.

You really gotta use mouse tester to be able to tell if the 8khz is any good. When people talk about good polling rate stability they usually mean that the time between each individual update is roughly 0.125ms for 8khz, not that it averages out to an update every 0.125ms over one second which is all that the razer app tells you. So if 8 updates are sent all together followed by 1ms with no updates and then 8 more updates it would show up as 8khz in the razer app but it would essentially perform the same as 1khz with the drawbacks of 8khz. And that's usually what happens on bad implementations.

I would be happy to loose a bit of sound imaging during fps games if the jt1's were great for music( even if I don't know how to eq but im willing to learn) thanks so much! @ryanhostudio I always have a very finicky experience with this HiFi stuff. I'm getting crazy distortion on my PC audio whether I use USB C or Optical. But, if I play a raw FLAC straight from my PC hard drive, it doesn't distort. My 4K Bluray player sounds excellent, and it's hooked up through optical. Zero distortion on movies. The sound coloring options work fine through the 4K movie player while watching movies. But if I use them while on PC audio, it makes horrible noises on bass notes that sound like it's going to blow of my headphones.

@@ryanhostudio I figured it out 😭 It was my volume levels on PC being too high and introducing many problems. I don't know at what volume level PC audio introduces distortion, so I have all of the volumes (three or four different sliders) at 65% to remove the distortion it introduces. I know it's not the correct way but it's working for now. Until I learn how to properly get a clean signal from onboard PC audio. Anyway, it sounds incredible and I adore this stack. It fixed every problem that I was having.

I notice entry level DACs like JDS Atom and Burson Playmate also feature USB C, but at a certain point as you move up in price, the USB C input is replaced in favor of USB B input. I've always wondered why this is, and if it's because USB B is a superior transmission for audio
