Incredible video! I have a few fabrics lying around (upholstery vinyl and demin... along with tons of cotton fabric for lining). The only thing different I'd add is I want a waterbottle holder on the inside bag and the back straps to be padded. But those are really easy adjustments to make. Thank you for making such a great instructional video!

I made a backpack from your other channel a few years ago. It was another design, and I still carry it. It's sturdy, and I love the fabric I chose. I'm going to give this one a try, too! You're a great teacher!

Nice tutorial, thanks. It looks like you accidentally put the zipper sliders wrong direction. Sliders should face each other with open side, not close one. See one more time original Kanken backpack how its done. Advantage of it is quicker opening and partly opened top to put in small things. Otherwise you did a really great job, thanks for video.

This is so bloody clever! I teach sewing to underprivileged adults, and we rely on fabric donations, so this has me thinking - what a funky (and cheap) way to practice sewing garments!

Why hand stitch the lining in the bag when it could have been sewn in by machine? It would have saved some time...just a thought.
