I couldn't agree more, AWE. The way that I see this "controversy" is that I see the large majority of people that are fuming over female Adeptus Custodes either don't know the lore at all or only know a little bit and want to just fume over something so small and immediately call something "woke". If you think about it, this addition to the lore literally changes nothing in the lore about the Custodes. I know a little bit of WH40k lore and it is pretty far from being the term "woke". It's grimdark with a hint of silliness. I completely agree with you and Bricky. Anyway, I love your content AWE. Keep up the good work! The vast majority of time when I watch your videos on Fantasy I learn something new and I'm super grateful for it!

I've always been a huge bretonnia fan, and it really felt like Graham didn't really care or like Bretonnia. Wish they just got Josh Reynolds to do the book. His bretonnia books solidified bretonnia as my favorite gw faction

I can see that view, and Josh does some really great writing! I agree the changes to Brettonian culture are jarring but I see it this way, think of any culture on earth 200 years ago, they were very different, we really only know Brettonian culture in the 2500s, who knows how it was in the 2200s.

Hey, I know the old world and these topics don't get as much traction as 40k and AOS so I really appreciate the work you do. I love the medium/long format lore dives. I'm not sure how much demand there would be for it but a mordheim lore video could be interesting. :) Anyway keep up the great work!

thanks for making this, it was helpful information. im making a young (46 years old) gladerider come life school spellslinger eonir in warhammer fantasy rpg that is a tor elf but he dislikes that the other wood elves of laurelorn forest arent allowed to sit on the council so he left by mutual agreement to train his magic in altdorf with the humans.

I think it's more likely than not that we will see the Empire have access to gunpowder, steam tanks and state troops. As these are important and recognisable parts of their faction identity. Also I'm going to be VERY disapointed if all the handgunner models I've been painting are retconned out of the Empire unit roster.

I certainly hope they 'expand' rather than 'contract' the offerings of models. Some, especially the steam tank aged pretty well.

Personally I hope we also see the return of "Regiments Of Renown" as I found them to be a fun and interesting inclusion to the world and the many armies that could feild them. I'd also ask, as it might inspire some interesting thought. Are there any units you would like to see from Total War: Warhammer translated to the tabletop. Personally I would like to see a distinction between Empire Militia and Free Companies. With the latter being a better equiped and skilled version of the former. Simmilar to the relationship between Empire millita archers, and Huntsmen. Do with that what you like, but I think it's an interesting/fun question to think about.
