Hi, I came across this watch by chance here in Spain and I bought it. It will be my first Seiko, and I hope the first of many (actually, my first serious watch since I have an Apple Watch). I wanted to ask you, I would avoid wearing it with the leather strap to preserve it over time. Besides the yellow strap that comes with the watch, is it possible to get another official Seiko strap, perhaps a black leather one and maybe a black or dark gray band? "Could it also be compatible with black steel straps? If I'm not mistaken, they are 22mm. Thanks

Love my orient also. I dont really care for spending extra monies on extra bracelets anymore, i did aboy 10 yrs ago. Every seiko etc i had i purchased extra strapcode bracelets for but i.m.o My rolex datejust has hollow endlinks😊

Acheté il y a six ans (fond blanc) cette montre était alors à un prix correct...par contre ,le bracelet (plutôt sympa) s'est détérioré après peut être trois ans... comme vous dîtes , si elle a ,à ce point augmentée.. on peut aussi regardé ailleurs..

On a properly designed NATO (or other military watch strap) the buckle shouldn't have a spring bar. The buckle should be sewn to the strap. There are a lot of "fashion" military-style straps out there with spring bar buckles. Avoid them.

I just cut that second layer off and melt the edge with a lighter. Basically make the Nato strap into a Zulu strap. I see no real advantage to that second layer of fabric underneath the watch

On original MOD Design Nato Straps there is no Keuper Sprringbar.

I have this watch….its beautiful and movement is very accurate…may be around 2 seconds a day. Yes the size could have been smaller say 40mm….also bezel has a little play. And the hands could have been little slimmer.

Do you know when I can’t get a Bazel like the ones orient makes for its watches idk if it’s exclusive for them with the indents they have on the bezel. I have a Kano but I want to mod it so it looks exactly like the kamasu.

I just got mine. Same red dial as yours. The crown is solid and is not hard to turn or screw out. My main issue is the unadjusted movement running 15 seconds fast per day. I am going to regulate it.

There is no way you removed the bezel that easily!

I got a black curved end rubber strap for it. I figured 1-it won't scratch like a bracelet would. 2-It can get wet 3-Can look dressy too.

Where can I buy the metal strap for the Hamilton Khaki 38mm? I want it for the same reason that the leather strap is not the best in summer time. I don't see the metal strap on their website.

They look nice, I was looking for a strap to put on a vintage Mido more on the dressier side and that Pebbled leather strap would fit like a glove.

First time I watched the video, I thought you were just giving away two straps that you had, I didn't realize the winner can pick any two of their choice on the website. So I just went to the website and that's a super cruel giveaway. How is a person supposed to select just two of this amazing plethora of straps? They will spend hours looking at all these variations, materials and colours and end up with a list of 25 straps they want.. and then what?
