The battery, for a Chrysler Dodge Journey, is located inside the driver side wheel well. I broke 2 of those fasteners trying to remove the wheel well liner. Went to the Chrysler dealership to purchase replacements. Two small plastic clips cost me, with tax, just over $10.00. So, my advice is put your money towards the purchase of the tool. You will always have it for future clip replacement.

The first usage is the whole bottle then you’re supposed to drive it. 1500 miles before you put in only a half a bottle for the second go.

Can you use additional filters, such as cut to size electrostatic portable AC filters on this model? Would a HEPA filter be too much blockage? Can mold or bacteria, etc develop inside these or is the coils too hot for it to survive, as in making using a filter pointless ? Thanks in advance anyone!

It doesn’t force the vapor out. Moisture and vapor come out of the pcv hose and collects as a liquid like you see here. This catch can is just a gravity drop off for the moisture to fall into. The moisture comes in the inlet side and falls in the can. Then the air is dry as it passes to the outlet side. This prevents the freezing of the pcv line and buildup of water in the air box. Yes, it’s done exactly like this except mine did not have that much slack and was hard to twist and pull of there. The left side was easy but the right side took 20+ min to finally get right

What do you do when the grease appears to not go into the fitting but squeezes out around it? Tighten it more?

Yes you may need to tighten it more. Another possibility is that the zerk fitting is clogged. Try to tighten your coupler first. If it still oozes out then you may need to buy new zerk fittings and replace it. Sometimes they seize up and don’t allow grease to enter. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
