Blanche was such iconic character on the show they never make characters like this anymore.

LOL.... I am surprised the whole damn family is not a bunch of alcoholics or drug users because they put the dys in dysfunctional family. Wow....LOL...just ruined that AA Meeting. Peter is glad it happened because it gives him an excuse to keep drinking which is what he wanted to do.

Blanche (Maggie Jones) was Just Brilliant in Corrie. she was a character. Corrie needs more people like her in it.
