I'm blessed to have a drop of Cherokee ancestry. My white ancestors have been here since 1650 or so, and we undoubtedly live on land that we took. A Cherokee woman escaped the Trail of Tears and became one of my great great grandmothers, once upon a time. What a weird world we live in. Some days I want to burn my own shit.

Here's the reality. The rest of the world had thousands and thousands of years of untouched culture and history and technology that had flourished. The aboriginals in North America experienced destruction and chaos. There were no collaborations between different ethnic tribes and y'all were on the brink of killing each other all off. North America was widely unpopulated . The rest of the world was a very dangerous place and there were very dangerous people encroaching on indigenous peoples of Europe. Uber experiencing mass murders and economic decline to the point of extinction. By whom by Muslims by the Ottoman Empire?. Most of North America was conquered not unseated by Europeans British and French mainly. Would you have rather had the Spanish or Portuguese to do to you? Your ancestors what they had done to the South Americans?. Or would you have rather had the Ottoman Empire come in and enforce Muslim jihad?.
