Many G1 MH are glue free luckily but so many suffer from glue seepage. The glue issue still badly infuriates me!

I know!! It’s so hard and time consuming to take care of!! My Scaris Catrine unfortunately has a yellow head because of all the glue:((

Oh no! I have a few with discolouration near the hairline (og Frankie, some Abbey, og Rochelle, Elissabat whole forehead is a disaster...). Some dolls are glue free. I can think of og Spectra and Ghoulia made in China, School's out made in China, Dead tired, Music Festival and many early budget dolls made in China, all glue free. Some dolls exist in both versions with or without glue, it is puzzling. At the end of G1, most dolls had heads full of glue and the ones made in China are a nightmare. Sometimes I think I should never buy another Mattel product new in shops just because of their evil glue. So many people complained about it early on. Mattel knew the damage and never stopped using it, not only for MH but EAH and Barbie of this era had the same fate.

@@darklight4251 yes!! It’s so sad:( I think the effects of glue seepage also depend on how the doll has been stored. For example, storing them in a hot garage or storage unit could worsen glue seepage. It’s the sad truth, but I’ll never stop buying MH dolls! Lol
