I heartily recommend Vespa Club of Sarasota...and I live slap across the country in the California desert! Lisa and Tim and MIck and Bruce and a-l-l the other fine folks...you simply could not go wrong giving this group a shot. Besides...if you watch many of the videos, you'll see that these people eat REALLY well!

But we have a wind warning in effect here in the desert through tomorrow...40 to 45+ mph winds with gusts of 65 to 70+ mph possible. Think I'm staying inside today. So, thanks for the ride!

So, I come home from a brief jaunt around the 'hood only to find KZfaq's algorithm bringing me another one of your vids I haven't yet seen. Great work, as usual! I dig the cat on the Honda Helix...have always loved those scoots. My first Vespa was a 2011 GTV in Portofino green. I named her Olive. In one of my numerous moments of stupidity, I moved her along to her next caretaker. Miss you, Olive! It looks as though Miss Anita O'Day, my '24 GTS "Classico," will be sharing the garage once I finalize the return of my second Vespa, a 2005 ET2 50cc named Lily (after The Who song "Pictures of..."). The fellow I sold her to several years back has taken crap care of her, she doesn't run, yada, yada, yada...so it's time to rescue her and get her back in rideable shape...eventually! Thanks for today's ride, folks!

Ive always had sports bikes and adventure bikes and bought a Vespa GTS 300 in a moment of madness over the phone. I rode a 140 miles home and within the first few miles I thought I'd made an expensive mistake, but after a 100 miles I suddenly understood what Vespas are about. Last year I rode it from the UK to Azerbaijan via Cyprus and it never missed a beat. After all of that it's now my main form of transport.

It was very stable while I used it. No bouncing. I sold the 2 bikes and rack to someone else and they are thoroughly enjoying both👍
