It’s football. The name of the game is to impose your will on the opposing team and not just win but to dominate. Why take a knee to guarantee a win when I can take it back home for a touchdown and really secure the win and go up two scores.

Let’s just say Ed reed fumbled the ball and the browns got it back with time left to score or Ed reed could have fumbled it and the browns ran it back for a touchdown. I can see that but either way this is Ed reed we talking about. I didn’t see him fumbling the ball or anyone catching him.

Nothing is guaranteed in _any_ football game. There is always the slim chance that if Ed Reed takes a knee in the end zone, the Browns could still possibly tie or even win said game. For arguments sake lets say Ed Reed downs the ball in the end zone. Ravens offense gets ball at 20 yard line. 1st and 10. Fumbled snap by the Ravens offense. Ball is recovered and returned for a TD by Browns defense. Tie game or a win with a 2 point conversion. That kind of stuff has happened before. Would you like an example of such? Miracle at the Meadowlands. Nearly similar situation as well.
