All I can say is, it is time. Using the Strongest Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance published by Zondervan because it has the little words Genesis 1:28-29 was the first time God the Grandfather, Ancestor spoke with Man. It is the Law still today. Nothing has changed but our hearts. Using the first time used rule. Of the different Hebrew words and the picture graph of each. The Root Word of each word. The verses associated with them, remember God is LIFE. Death and destruction comes from man’s actions against what is right. One People, One LORD who will dwell in peace. Be a part of it, or else become the path of destruction, that will be swallowed up. A Bye Word of yesterday. He Has Spoken

I think I was shown this in high school. God have mercy for the abominable treatment the indigenous nations endured and are enduring. I shed many tears.

Western settler colonialism needed an adulterated form of "liberalism" to justify its' genocides, theft and murder.

It's incredible to think that "liberal" "democracy" has this as it's orgin story, not even to mention the human trafficking(slavery), annexations and illegal wars. It will all end in the same way it was born. People wonder why the US never seems to be able to move past its sins and chaos.

Even as a child I´ve felt a deep connection, even a longing, for the indigenous ways of living: their living with nature, having that deep connection to it, honoring and preserving it. There is so much we, the so called "civilized" world, could learn from them, if only we were willing. Especially that weaving is so utterly amazing and beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this. And my heart-felt apologies for everything that has been and unfortunately still is being done to you and your ways of living. Thank you for keeping your wisdom alive - and that you are willing to share it - inspite of all the hardship.

Its because u feel it in your being and u are connected to all things and if the world is hurting we are hurting. I think our teachings are so important and it isnt just to benefit Indigenous Ppl its away to benefit all nations and all beings.

The challenge lies in the perception among some Indigenous communities that non-Indigenous individuals are separate from their own, which can lead to a lack of shared knowledge and values. The profound understanding, innovative ideas, and deep respect that native peoples hold for the land often remain uncommunicated to those outside their communities. Consequently, large segments of the population may lack awareness or appreciation for these natural environments. This disconnect can result in the pollution and destruction of these lands-affecting not only the areas inhabited by non-Indigenous people but also the ancestral territories of Indigenous communities.

"If you could bottle the air, you would take that, too" Mary K. says what I have thought before myself. It already feels like the greedy ones are purposely poisoning the land to make things "rare" so they can charge for it. Capitalism is really bad for nature. It is all about taking from the Earth for a profit. It is a very dangerous system that has gotten out of control. It will be hard to dismantle because people are afraid of it, I think. It has become an uncontrollable monster. I feel listening and learning from the tribes will help heal. Tell us that it is ok to want to be in balance with the mother Earth. More balance and sustainability does not mean we have to give up all of our tech or eating out at Applebee's. We can try to find a balance where communities garden together and share memes and recycle our broken laptops or whatnot. Talk about what we would like to help the Earth with or just plain old listen to nature A LOT more. I need to do that. Ok. think it is time to take a tech break, lol.

I cannot find anywhere on Arizona gov/US Forest service mentioning red heart cedar is off limits to cut? I would think it would be. I was told even on Apache Res in the White Mountains Native Americans are no longer allowed to cut them down? Does someone know? They use to maks thierway to the valley and cities along the way

This made me want to find a person(s) or place to learn more about weaving. Plus, I do believe we need to listen to Native Americans when it comes to the environment. Learning about what is good for the Earth and trees is very important. So sad that there is only 1% Native Americans left and 2% trees. That needs to be turned around.

If they could bottle the air, they would take it, trust me. As a New Zealander, our reconciliation process is farrrrr from perfect, but at least the past is acknowledged and processes for equity are ongoing. Don't take any shit from governments, and educating the general public about the true extent of your losses is the best way to get them on your side. It can happen; in my lifetime, the change in attitude toward Maori culture and the treaty process has been huge, and positive. Kicking back is the only way to recover your due. Don't wait for anyone to give you permission.
