Very nice. A bit too much over acting from the narrator, but you know...I suppose it will do for noo.

Feel honored to have stumbled across this - proud of myself, too. S. Callow brings Dickens into a here & now seriously in need of him.😅😂😊❤

Charles Dickens was a sociopathic literary imposter who merely pretended to have written "A Christmas Carol." It was originally written by American couple Mathew and Abby Whittier. All Dickens did was to hurriedly re-work their manuscript within six weeks, to avoid impending debt. His influence was to secularize it and dilute it for mass consumption. My paper, "Evidence That ‘A Christmas Carol’ Was Originally Written by Mathew Franklin Whittier and Abby Poyen Whittier, Rather Than by Charles Dickens" can be downloaded from the link below. www.ial.goldthread.com/MFW_APW_Carol.pdf

"Going home again...." Yes, the transmigration of souls. We left Home & entered the body at first breath & soon we go back. A fascinating idea that makes sense to some.

I also met John Denver 3 times. And I was on the audience for the Wildlife concert as well. He was my childhood hero.

He was a friend of people, and the Earth God created. No name was ever given to the earth in all reality, however. He will be missed. As a Christian, I serve and put my Lord Jesus first, and will always remember and be touched by John's music. I met him three times, and I am thankful I did.

This is John Denver's composition, "All This Joy." Recorded on his 1989 album "Higher Ground." I have always loved this song. As John was quoted in an early article, " i sing for the Joy in Living."
Sissel, my husband heard you sing “ready to go home “ on the northern lights concert several years ago. He secured the lyrics and asked his granddaughter to sing it at his funeral. The time has come but we can’t find the sheet music for her accompaniment. Can you help?

Hi Stephen, only just seen your comment. I would have loved to have been there but no I live in the UK and it wouldn't have been possible. The recording is part of a much longer video I found on youtube which I reposted as I felt many more people would be likely to hear this, as I feel, best rendition of this song he ever recorded.
