Great idea guys. I have a Delica also, and have just decided to rebuild the set up in the back. Glad I came across your video. I've always wanted to make a Rock and Roll bed. Simple yet effective. Thanks guys.

Everyone thinks that a bed should be about 75" A little longer then you are tall. I don't think so. I would go with a 5" foam mattress but only long enough to go about a few inches below my knees. Then I might consider building some sort of storage box that would be just 1 inch shorter then my bed with that 5" mattress. I really don't think anyone needs cushioning below the knees.

Very professional. What you should consider is: almost everyone in your immediate community more than likely arrived by.....boat. I'm talking about the people who have called where you live, home for quite a few generations. You could incorporate their ancestral story and journey across the seas and how that journey has shaped them etc. That way you keep an essence of what the channel is about... Sailing. For me personally....I'll watch anything that is interesting, informative, well thought out and intellectual. I think the idea of what you have put forward is very well thought out and intelligent. However, the channel provides for you. So my advice would be to be very careful not to jeopardize that which provides for you. Good luck.

Tip for anyone tackling this job, it helps to use a little Naval Jelly and a wire brush to remove the corrosion, particularly on the exposed threads next to the lock nut. It makes getting the lock nut loose a little easier. After I was done I put some lanolin on the stuffing box in hopes of preventing more corrosion. Hope that helps.

And all you needed to do was to change the wires??😂😂

My previous neighbor had/has a Laser 2. I actually got to race the it against other laser 2 back in the late 2000s. I broke both trapeze wires on two different years. Just dropped straight into the water.

I recently did the same repair to my 38 foot Morgan Catalina but eventually replaced the packing and replaced all the hose clamps on the bellow (hose). The work allowed me to control the drip from the stuffing box it also stopped the flood from my failing bellow. Now onto my rudder which also has a packing nut/stuffing box that is leaking. Oh yeah I tightened two through holes that were leaking so zI might finally (after one year) get a dry bilge! Best to you love your channel!

I'm going to invent a coffee press that doesn't leave " floaties " in the pour ...not that we even pay attention to them anymore..still...the floaty free coffee press. Any takers.

Thanks for your great shows. Especially the Universal engine work. I have an old one runs great but finding parts is my question. Not the Kubota engine particularly. Right now looking for the seawater impeller kit. Any source other than westerbeke? Enjoy.

Nice...maybe a sailboat trip up Howe Sound docking at the end (can't remember the name of the town) with a ski/bike adventure to Whistler? Or...a trip to Vancouver docking at some marina there...?

Of course, the Lord and Master of the Domain, Baron if you will, always insists upon being served that very BEST part of the loaf, that deliciously crusty portion from the center, just to prove how much he approves. ;-) What a keeper he is, you two are priceless. Better than bacon! High praise indeed! Hey, I KNOW he is not your 'lord and master', times they are a changin', but I hope he treats you that way ALL the time, you (both) deserve your life. Every time I try to edit it, it sounds worse, I hope you understand some of what my intention was.
