I WOULD MADE THE BLOCKS HIGHER... THIS IS ALL DOWN HILL FOR WATER AND EVERY THING.... WOW
@rolanddimmitt547413 сағат бұрын
I wanted to make the blocks higher but they said I could only go up 4 inches. I think now that I could have gone another layer of 4" blocks anyway.

If you have an evaporative cooler and an air conditioner running at the same time they are counter productive with each other. The evaporative cooler is putting moisture in and the AC is taking the moisture out. My dad was a home builder in Phoenix. That's what he told me. You might research it. Personally don't have any knowledge of how that all works.

@@nettp7773 We have the option of only turning on the fan of the evaporative cooler - but at times it’s very dry here in Arizona so I want my humidity to fall between 45 and 55% - then I will want water in the air - I’ll turn on the water pump in the cooler. It’s just a small one anyway. Thank you for commenting.

That's an interesting idea, I'll have to try that. How much current does it draw and how has the repurposed motor held-up?
@shortbus25 күн бұрын
Motor didn't hold up very long. I've ended up trying many ways and different dc motors. The best way is just to get an original electrical motor that was made to run these washers and give it enough electricity to run, whether it be from a solar system source or standard.
@elektro956425 күн бұрын
@@shortbus I'm considering ordering one of the cheap generic Chinese 24v "500w" (28a 2500rpm) motors and running it at a slower speed (~1200rpm) on my 12 volt system. I would expect the motor would last long enough and should give about 1/4 HP which should be enough the run the washer without loss of power compared to the standard 120v motor.

We visited Tombstone many years ago. It was awesome being in this town, so rich with history. We saw the OK Corral with the staged gunfight, and Boot Hill cemetery, that had some really funny "epitaphs" on the headstones. We went into one of the saloons on the main street. There may only be one street. I hope so. Tombstone should remain exactly as it was, and not be developed, otherwise it would lose everything that makes it unique.
