immer wieder dankbar für die tollen aufnahmen, die der beste runnig camerman macht. und diesmal hatte ich das vergnügen und die ehre in der staffel mit ihm mitzulaufen. danke und großes kompliment allen athlet:*INen, die das anspruchsvolle Rennen gemeistert haben. Und Danke, den Organisatoren für das perfekte Gelingen.

I love way most of these civvis bimble into final RV with no sign of any real effort. Also all the huge bergans with kit hanging off all over the place. No idea at all.

Its a small (90 runners) but nice event. No we hadn't timing chips, so it was back to the middle ages of running 😁😁😁

Ich hab schon nach den 2 Km im Flachen genug gehabt... 😓 Aber Du kannst ja nächstes Jahr gerne mitmachen, dann weist Du wie müde man ist wenn man oben ankommt...🤪😜

I’ve done this load bearing event twice summer 2015 and winter 2016. I was 40yrs at the time and came 6th both times in 3.28 / 3.30. This has reminded me that I am going to do it again. It’s a great day out. Hog roast at the end!

Yes, its a 2 lap course (or 2 half marathons in a row 😅). Hated it the first time i did run the Salzburg Marathon in 2014, hated it even more this time: the second lap for me was pure misery 😩. They make even the tempting offer of a half marathon finish at the end of the first lap 🙄

Did the Salzburg Marathon once...before... 10 years ago. Didn't go that well so i told my self "never again!". Some how i forgot about that and had the brilliant idea to give it another try. History repeated itself and it turned out to be another awful race.

Not that i know of. But its possible that the organizers may have packed up and went home 🙄 One this one i confused some checkpoints and got lost. Took me 2h to complete the course (while the fastest runner did it in 40min) 😓

As i told you before: See if there is one in you area an sign up! Sadly the events are a little bit expensive so better to sign up as soon as registrations open than last minute.

⚠ For the record: I don't like the Rule change with the introduction of the penalty loop. So for every ❌failed obstacle i paid with the set of 30 Burpees, like it was in the good old times. (same goes for the night race the previous evening)

👍 Thank you for wasting your precious time on my video. The Moment Siri refused to work shows how f*cked we ware when the grid goes down. Thats why mapreading and finding your way is an important skill ! ☝️ If you have the opportunity to try orienteering, do it!

Beautiful change of sceneries throughout the course, including the whiteout at the end! I kept waiting to see if you would ski down back to the start! Great video/recap, and congratulations on your race!

Finish is on top of the Mountain. Once changed in to dry clothes athlets ski down to the aid station/ mountain hut for the after race party. And after that further down to the end to the slope(where the skiing part started). But with tired and sore legs skiing down is a pain in the...never mind 😜

Wow, the beautiful Verona! how much I would have loved to run around there! At least I won some "lottery" ticket with Adidas Team to run at Athens half marathon on 10th of March. I have great doubts whether to film the race or try a Personal Best on the Half Marathon... Anyway, can't wait to do it, hehe!

It was short, just going uphill. On the longer track you have a few ups and downs (maybe next year 🤞)
