I’m glad to hear you found it beneficial. While editing, we noticed that the extensive details about travel and locations might sometimes make the reader feel bogged down. However, amidst these details, there are valuable insights into what the LORD has accomplished in these women's lives. Praise be to Christ that His same power is at work today.

He confused unction/anointing with being continually filled with the Holy Spirit. The prayer component is essential, but because it refills you with the Holy Spirit; not because you are anointing, or given unction. The three scriptures that speak of this matter refer to us already all having this unction, so, that cannot be it.

I would only change one thing (having listened to Chapter 1 only so far). Just substitute the word preacher for the word Christian, and you have it nailed!

Indeed a valid point, this book can be helpful for all believers though the author originally wrote it with a specific focus towards believer's who preach the Word.

@@tedandrewjobita3981 I read this comment. I reread it. I read it to my wife. We have absolutely no idea what you are trying to say. When you say, "The writer," are you speaking of E.M. Bounds being the author of the book in question? Or of God as the author of The Bible? Your comment seems to have to apply to E.M. Bounds, but then you say that the writer alone, "remains supreme and relevant," which can only apply to The Divine. If you say E.M. Bounds alone remains supreme and relevant, I believe that Mr. Bounds, the owner of this channel, and I will all rebuke you in love, but in unison. So, if you would, please explain your comment, and we shall give you the benefit of the doubt until then, as love believes all things.

Amen! Prayer is the foundation and place of power! Thank you Lord for the fiery, prayer filled men and women who led me to you and to the filling of Holy Spirit.🙌🏼. They paved the way for me. Earnest, sustained Prayer has healed my depression and lifted my eyes off this earth onto Heaven! Prayer has brought revelation and joy! Prayer has brought me closer to my Lord and exposed my sinful nature but in a way that makes me want to run to Jesus! So stick with it with fierce resolution, ask for help to quiet your mind and dive deep into prayer! It’s the greatest adventure and honor I’ve EVER experienced.

Well, maybe look at it this way: whether a book is a handwritten copy by a copyist or one produced using a printing press, at least the truth is being disseminated freely, and that is the goal.

@@scrollreaderaudio Amen ... I stand corrected - and the books are produced more quickly I suppose - unless they are proof read (listened to). It was just that I feel a human voice has more spiritual depth - although the one you have chosen is very good.

@@Ancient-Paths Yes we agree that a human voice, in most cases, is far better, and do work with people to use actual voices as able--but indeed the time and cost is the big difference. As far as proofing, yes, we do proof each book. We first put them on scrollreader.com, and some can reports mistakes/errors, and we fix it, prior to KZfaq (though errors will end up on KZfaq), since you cannot edit a video once it is up. But with each book we try to find a voice or voices that fit the character and the person. Thanks for your feedback.

It is amazing how God can do so much with the goodwill of a man like Robert Morrison, that although few Chinese were converted, it was a part waters for millions of Chinese to come to believe in Jesus and be saved!! God is great, and He can do great things with each one of us, if we are entirely willing to serve Him on the mission field!!

When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land." I know that this is story takes place in the South Pacific but I wonder if the end results were the same. That indeed is an interesting quote. I could see how those with a postmillennial end-times view could have a strong motive for colonization and land acquisition. True Biblical missionaries are seeking to see local people saved and then raised up into leadership. No doubt, having believers in the government-if some were to take such positions-would bring change. However, that is far different from foreign missionaries becoming overly involved in politics. But thanks for sharing the quote, an interesting topic for the subject of missions.
