I see many comments here saying that the taillights are awesome... I think that they're ok, they are reminiscent of a Hyundai, which is something that BMW would want to distance itself from! If you were to remove the BMW badge and replace it with a Hyundai one, it would look right at home - the back side I mean. And the grille could be made a bit more subtle... Hope that somebody at the design team sees this comment.

Lots to like. Very quick car, as expected. Handling feels sharp, but no hiding 5+K pounds. Slightly disappointed with the mirrors mounted at the A-pillar, rather than on the door skin, as the resulting wind noise at highway speeds is quite annoying.

If it's the M performance version with 601 HP and 820 NM torque, then why is the top speed limited to only 230 km/h? The prev gen normal 5 series could go almost 255 km/h. Like in a long run the old one can outrun this M vehicle. What an upgrade!
