I bought a Maytag washer a few years ago. It's horrible! It won't turn on! I have to unplug and beat it to death. When I push the button and it starts it totally surprised me. I got cheated.

Same here with the smell! We did all the things mentioned to get rid of the odor. Nothing worked! The odor is waaay worse and I can’t wash the clothes without them smelling like mold! We hooked up another washer to rule out that it could be our water that smelled like sulfur and mold. Nope, it is in fact the washer! 🤢 We love the bells and whistles but it ain’t worth the hassle of having to get a professional to come clean it out every 3-6months. Sadly it looks like we will no longer be Maytag front loader users but switching to a Whirlpool top loader.

I should have checked if the Maytag provides service for their products and how-to videos before purchase. I used a unit a little more than a year, it has issues.

Thanks for showing this.They should show this before you buy this machine, the dog hair gets stuck and hard to remove. Poor design and we had to buy front loader because we had,one before with a counter top built over it for folding because of a small house.do when the old washer quit because a transformer blew and we couldn't buy a new dryer too about 1800 for the pair. We had too and thought we were buying the best but I wish could do it all over again because there has to be a better way to keep these clean.

THIS IS TOTAL BULL WHEN I WASH A LOAD OF WORK PANTS AND TEES THERE IS ALWAYS AT LEAST ONE TEE THAT IS NOT WASHED PROPERLY , IT STILL SMELLS OF SWEAT.

Does the finish look different than regular stainless steel? I seem to recall it looking more like a metallic grey car paint, rather than the brushed look of stainless steel. Does that sound right?
