Yea there are definitely better options than this. I typically enjoy all the asian films. I just watched Minari, Monster, Past Lives & liked all of them more than this. Parasite & Decision to Leave are 2 of my favorites. Oldboy is also interesting.

I just still don’t get about the whole texting thing like was Chance doing it the whole time?? Was there someone else involved?? I just don’t get his jealousy at all. Like aside from seeing Brooke talk to Colton once we never see them talk again. All we get are these wired text messages. Whatever was wrong with Chance I feel never really came through. And then like he lying to Colton’s mom about being homeless and having stomach cancer. I just didn’t get that at all.

Jeff I saw this in cinema and after 15 minutes was on my phone, and I actively try to avoid it. BTW I was literally the only one in cinema so I was not being rude. I am just going to be straight to the point, it stunk. It really stunk. Now IDK I would give it a second chance at home maybe, but I really couldn't not get into it at all.

I enjoyed the movie overall even with it's problems. I liked the killer, the kills are awesome, simple story and I'm cool with that. Following the killer through the woods, I was relaxed and felt peaceful. There is no score in the movie, that never bothered me. I didn't like the other characters because their acting was horrible and bad dialogue. Also, the ending was blah for me.

I enjoyed the movie but I gotta be honest, if this movie didn’t have Mel Gibson on the box, I would never watch it. Which leads me to another conclusion, I probably miss a lot of good movies because every actor in this movie was great. The story/acting is what makes this movie. Russel is a very likable character and so is the woman and the kid. I liked all the characters. Great little backstory and of course Mel Gibson brilliant as always.

I am sure you know this but this is just chapter 1 and chapters 2 & 3 are set to come out soon. This was essentially an incomplete story or hardy a full movie b/c it is just chapter 1. It was critically panned at did poorly at the box office. Personally, I was a little easier on it than most in that I liked it okay, but at the end of the day your critiques and the feedback of other critics is accurate. It wasn't a very good movie.

I saw this in a moviehouse a number of weeks ago and I have to say it wasn't very good. I almost walked out, but I stuck it out. It is to bad b/c they could have made something decent from this premise, but they just didn't. I guess one minor bright spot was there were good looking folks in it, but it wasn't good in my opinion. Not good. You are correct Jacob over acted and his character was not written well so that didn't work out. I liked the other movies and this was bottom of the barrel my good friend.

I saw it. I didn't really care for it. It was okay. Just okay. I don't get why either of the guys would want to be with Zendaya's character b/c she constantly cheated and was unfaithful in her marriage. Why would you want her? Plus I didn't like the ambiguous ending. I just didn't care for it and didn't get the high ratings, but seeing it once for free at home is fine. I think that what you were getting at is the love triangle made me feel sort of dirty and Zendaya's character was awful..This only did well b/c Zendaya is hot at the moment, but this movie wasn't great.

As a fan it pains me to say this but I have to be honest - Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a bad movie. The film is total a mess. It's an overstuffed, poorly paced, confusing, convoluted movie with an unnecessarily complicated plot. There are far too many characters, some of which have been needlessly shoehorned into the story. Many if the characters are also very bland, with very little personality, charisma, likability, humor or chemistry. It's overstuffed with unnecessary dialogue, dull subplots, pointless characters and scenes which go on for far too long. It's not funny either. I didn't laugh once during the movie, and neither did the audience I was watching it with. It's not frightening either. There are no scares in the film. Laughs and scares are two things you expect from a Ghostbusters film, but this latest entry in the series is completely devoid of any. Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan may be talented directors, but they're the wrong people to be writing Ghostbusters films. Afterlife was mediocre at best, but Frozen Empire is just plain bad. With a heavy heart, I rate this film 3 out of 10. I feel a lot of fans are in denial about just how bad this film is.
@KimmelsIrishPub12Ай бұрын
Yeah - it is usually best to just leave the original alone
@ghostbusterscollector8593Ай бұрын
@@KimmelsIrishPub12 I'm not opposed to sequels. The problem is that they're almost always bad. The sequels to Ghostbusters have got increasingly worse. Ghostbusters 2 was disappointing, Afterlife was mediocre and Frozen Empire was poor.

I actually saw this in cinema. It was okay. Just okay. Okay to see at home, but not amazing. There wasn't much ghost busting in this movie and the climax was pretty rushed. The fire God aspect was cool and it was good to see the original Ghostbusters together, but those actors were just in it for a paycheck. This is a far cry from the original Ghostbusters, but this is okay to watch at home. If you paid full price for streaming around 20 bucks or whatever have you, it is certainly not worth that price. Just okay.

You are correct that the odd explanation of what or who The Jester even is did not make sense. Yes, the dad was a jerk, but not super evil. Dastmalchian is pronounced "da-small-chin". It's okay, EVERYBODY gets it wrong the first time. He was also in The Suicide Squad as Polka Dot Man. Although this is ultimately an imperfect film, I find it incredibly entertaining and rewatchable. The whole cast nails it. And yeah, hypnosis is scary, mass hypnosis is possible, but not at that level. Fortunately, I'm not susceptible to it. Some people just aren't, so I don't think anyone could pull off something like that successfully. There will always be enough people that are immune to it. But I REALLY don't like the idea of someone manipulating my mind like that. It's truly a horrifying idea to me.
