Props to Nolan to select Cillian such a HUMBLE and TALENTED person to carry the weight of this role. His talent comes in the restraint in the performance. Smart choice which paid off in multiple OSCARS!

Twilight Zone is the best series ever on television. Rod Serling was brilliant.

“Nothing in the Dark” is absolutely the best and most viewed Twilight Zone episode and one of my favorites released in season 3. Long live Gladys Cooper and Rod Serling’s outstanding legacies where they sail up into the Twilight Zone. Thank you, Robert Redford, for helping that elderly woman overcome fear by walking out of the dark with her.

"She was muzzled. It's impossible to grow into this person that's supposed to exist and then be like why isn't this working? Why can't I feel like a whole person? She was never allowed to be a whole person, yet she was expected to function as one. Her body screams, the turmoil and the physicality of trying to express how she feels and she is ''winning''. She was directly speaking which must have felt incredible. But there was a large part of her life that was spent communicating diagonally.

I read "The Man Who Talks to Horses" many years ago, and used his techniques and understanding of horse temperament to work with my mare. I live down the road from Solvang, and about fifteen or so years ago I stopped with a friend at Monty's "Flag Is Up" farm, and we were lucky to witness one of his "join up" sessions and it was miraculous. It took place in a covered round pen with a viewing area from around and above. We joined a group of trainees from Europe to watch the session. The horse was a young mustang from the annual BLM cull and the most they'd been able to do was get a halter on him. A trainer was in the pen with him, using nothing but a long length of rope, and within 35 minutes, that horse was following that guy around, then he put a saddle/bridle on him with only one little buck when he tightened the girth, then he slowly introduced weight in the stirrup before getting onboard. One little buck, and within another five minutes he was riding that horse around the pen and even reining in figure eights.

I wish someone could explain to me what makes Isabelle Huppert so highly rated.... I personally struggle with her as I feel like she is too "cold" for her 'characters' (sorry to use the word) but I just don't feel the other person being channeled. I just see HER. and her usual coldness and depreciation and despite for humanity and cold intellect... Is this what directors are tripping on ? A woman who is basically mean and quasi sociopathic/robotic ??? A disincarnated actress? That's what fascinates them so much ? To film an automaton going through life mimicking human emotions? To film madness and 'evil'? Come to think about it that must be it, because no one has as much rage and fear inside as her...
