Remember this was during Fergie's boycott of the BBC that had been going on since 2004 and didn't end until 2011 so it was a big thing.

We dont have managers like this anymore. Just decent, honest, football folk that do it for the love of the game

Tavy@ AHAAAHAAA when sir alex the top man of men was asked to say what bobbys achieved in football alex stutterd very clearly and didnt know what to say about him apart from 'its amazing hes got this far and eh eh thats just great and so great and even greater than great" ahaahaa. Well whats he meant to say hes won this and that and had that bad a tean maradona beat 7 or 8 of hes players on a run from 70 yards at least and scored. Then gazza was that fat and slow he missesd judged a tackle on a german player by 2 minutes who btw deliberatly waited and drew gazza into the tackle to then just step away and gazza brought him down. Gazza had a bit of skill but he had didnt have a footballing brain and vision as to know what was happening all around him. Thats what the great players have to win you european cups and world cups. Like bobby charlton, george best, pele, maradona, beckenbauer, di stefano, puskas, c ronaldo, That german team of 1990 were awe some btw. And thats what i hated about playing against heavy to fat players becouse they tried to much wich made them worse and slower and basicly wanted to kill you. One day a fat guy shoulder tackled me and i went flying about 12 yards lol but to me it looked a fair tackle, so i learnd to just get the ball first but make it look as though i ran flat out to get in and then slowed down so when he came charging in too get the ball with all his might and sheer brute force and ignorance i just stepped away from him and laughed as he clicked just the edge of my shoulder and spin around about 3 times then fell, i had to pass the ball strait away becouse i couldnt stop laughing and was no use like that. I would have lost the ball. And gazza did exactly just that except he went sliding in. And gazza wasnt fit or fast enough to slide in then win the ball and get up first and then take the ball away to score a goal. The reason i know all this is becouse i am a great footballer myself and played with and against great players. Gazza deliberatly slid in to pull that german player down. Why was he so slow? lol and thats part of the germans game that most people never notice, they will know before the game who is fast and who is slow and who too watch. The german manager would have focused on the english players weaknesses, forgett the rest and what they can do. For example the manager would say "Gary Lineker outside the box hes useless, he cant do any thing, he cant dribble he cant head the ball and he cant tackle, you will just hear him more than you will see him, hes you're typical 1950s poacher and in the box from 12 yards out he will score given a chance. But a few heavy tackles into him and hes head will go down just stay on him hes the easiest player you will play against trust me hes just a chicken that lays eggs in the net lol chris waddle has got skill and his 6ft2 and can play any where and can dribble then would chip the ball over the keeper so we really have to watch him. The rest are just average to worse. Well its basicly the same team that maradona went past 8 of them and scored so just man mark them becouse maradona would never do that to us. And in the final the germans hardly gave maradona a kick of the ball. In a way it didnt suprise me becouse i knew how good germany were in 1990. And i even put money on them to win and they did. They just looked so much better all over the park and stronger, skillfull, organised, great vision, where as i couldnt see that in argentinas games, and if you took maradona off the park germany would have beaten them about 4-0 if they didnt have diego. They depended on the wee man too much and the germans wouldnt let him move or do anything. A thinck diego even lashed out a few times in frustration at how the game was going. And it was a great game. I remember seeing maradonas face up close and he looked dejected, as if he was thincking were not winning it this time, these germans are too good for us this time!!! Rip diego and thancks

Tavy@ all bobby robsons known for is telling george best after best scored from a corner that it was a fluke in 1970. Thats how much he knows about the greatest player that ever lived, he didnt even know that best could score from corners. Best said to him "al do it again" then when best in the second half got a corner he chipped it and beat the keeper and the ball bounced twice along the cross bar. Best looked over at bobby before he took the corner to say watch this then lol

Tavy@ this is a shambles. Whats bobby robson ever did in football? the english are always good to there own with every english player getting obe, mbe, it doesnt matter if you have been in the game for a million years it doesnt matter if you arnt a great player or manager. Ffs. What has bobby ever done except hang around forever. Its a joke.
